I think he chose this route bec it was the option that came his way to make quick money and he wanted to prove that he too could be rich .....and also i think he didnt see it as wrong ...because with the heartbreak came the realization that feelings really have no place in this world over money ...so like someone else chose money over his feelings and their morality ...he too chose it over morality ..

well, i guess the fastest way to make more and more money was to pick up SUPARI and send someone upstairs😆 , kill and make money, eventually he stopped listening to his heart, but now that our sherni is here,, the heart is gonna start ticking again,, it's a matter of time only ehh,,,,

Good question, matwamango. I was thinking the same thing. Is this girl so important that he has to prove her wrong? That he has to become a murderer? I don't think the creatives are sending a good message with this violence theme but I guess this is how they justify Dutta's personality. But it still seems a weak motivation to me.

I felt that they could have come up with a better reason for his transformation into a don. Maybe if they had shown that Seema was killed and he was seeking vengeance against those who killed her or something like that, it would have been more realistic. But he does all this just to prove her wrong and frankly I don't think she's that important to prove anything to. He could also have earned money by working hard (as a mechanic) and then he wouldn't have all this guilt. Or he could have shown her that money is not all that one needs in life somehow. Just randomly killing people is not proving much besides that he was so desperate to get back at her that he'd do anything. I don't like this....

Also, I'm interested to see what Aai says when she sees him earning all this money by murdering people. She couldn't have been proud of him! How did she let him continue to this day? With her constant praying and chanting, she doesn't seem like a lady to let her son become a criminal! And all for a stupid girl?? Arghhhh..... And where do his 3 sisters come from? We haven't seen them in the flashback, so were they adopted?
