Just as a woman's life is incomplete with out being a mother, a man too cannot feel a sense of completeness in his life without experiencing fatherhood. However, in this rapidly moving and utterly competitive world, raising a child or even biding time for one is no longer an easy task.

Hollywood actor and one of the sexiest men in the world, George Clooney sent waves across the world after he was quoted saying that he doesn't to have any kids.

Even in a traditionalist country like India, where marriage and fatherhood is considered a necessity in life, you find young married and unmarried men, especially in the cities, who are not keen on having kids.

Mayur Lookhar caught with up with few husbands and bachelors from the TV industry for their take on Clooney's citation and are they cut out to be a good father.

Hiten Tejwani (married)
I won't agree with George Clooney. I'm cut out to be a good father. I've always enjoyed the company of kids. Be it changing diapers or cleaning the potties, I'm prepared to do anything for my baby.

Gaurav Gera (bachelor)
I respect George Clooney's opinion but I don't agree with it. I know many actors in television who are married but yet are not keen on having kids. I would love to be a father one day. I consider fatherhood as a responsibility. Changing diapers, cleaning shit, dressing up and dropping them to school is a way to show your commitment towards your children.

I completely disagree with Clooney. Not liking kids and puppies implies that you have a heart of stone. May be he must have had prior (bad) experiences. I simply adore kids no matter how they behave. I'm ready to do anything for my kid – though I'm still far away from having one. I'm game for even cranky kids. My father used to always say that you find others children cranky. When it comes to your child, you're ready to bear everything.

Though, I don't agree with Clooney one needs to take into account the reasons for him making such a statement. For any parent, the first 4-5 years of their child is a testing period for them. Most kids are at their mischievous best in the early years. They break objects, color the walls and create a ruckus in the home. However, at the end of the day when a father returns home from work, he derives joy in seeing the antics of his child. That truly is bliss.

If one doesn't' want a child for the fear of having a cranky baby, then he should adopt one. But there again lies a problem. After all, you'll never be able to shower unconditional love on an adopted child. Akhir khoon ka fark hamesha rehta hai. Not all can be Mother Teresa.

I don't know about George Clooney's current status so I can't comprehend as to why he made such a statement. As far as I'm concerned, I love kids. Delnaaz and I are looking forward to have one in near future. Presently, my pet dog 'Gabbar Singh Paul' is our son. While he may not laugh like Gabbar, he certainly bites like one. Babies are like little men and women and they are expected to behave in the same way.
