I think Tanya is perfect for Gandharis role as her character in kyunki was same as of Gandhari and all her fans has accepted that role very much..They have said she is doing blinds role very good.Here also she is acting as blind and there also she has to act blind.

Mr Shoaib Ali.....get one thing very very clear.........since you are not a hindu and your knowledge of Mahabharat and Hinduism is not expected to be great............so before commenting on any character of Mahabharat...positive or Negative.......respect the fact that you are in "India" forum ........if you want to do hinduism bashing...Orkut provides you excellent facility...

For your Kind information...Gandhari was not blind and she is not to be ridiculed and compared to "Tanya" for your pouring your hatered out....Gandhari is as sacred as Sita or any other goddess...

Now here is my POV on the issue you raised:
The reason I brought up the other 2 characters was in context. Why does everything have to be percieved with jaundiced eyes and ulterior motives .
It was not to start a Mahabharat here. I beg to differ that I was a spoiler of this topic.
I now associate Gauri only as Nandini and, this being a KSKBT forum ,and commented on her role being unsuitable as Draupadi.
I really believe she would have made a very good Rukmini and Rakshanda has all the punch for enacting Satyabhama.

And SohabAli: FYI: Gandhari was not blinded she chose to be blind being a very dutiful wife. And yes I agree with you 100%Rakshanda does have tremenedous potential to play such a role with great sensitivity.

sorry to say buddy but what's the use of starting all this? The discussion was going in a nice way until u made that remark on Hiten gauri and Rakshanda. I don't know why u have to drag the poor 3 in every topic.If u wanted to say that Hiten would not suit into the shoes of a mythological character u shud have said this in simple words. But again u dragged Gauri and Rakshanda with Hiten in this topic and that too using such invoking words. Sorry to say but u r the spoiler of this topic.

Plus i want to correct that on the comment gauri lacks fire. If u want to see the fire in Gauri's acting just watch Kutumb 1 where she played the role of an aggresive wife where sometimes she sometimes became stornger than Pratham. It's ok if u don't like Gauri , but the fact is that she would not be able to stay for such a long time if she wasn't able to act.

@ Sujata, i am too a great fan of HGT but i think Gauri is not gonna part of Mahabharat as there is no announcement. So just be happy watching Hiten playing a challenging role as i am fed up of his goody goody roles and want him in something diffrent and exciting and Karan is such a role that have both positive as well as negative sides. But please don't use words that affects the emotions of fans of other actors. U r here for Hiten and Gauri , just talk about them and don't offend the fan of other actors.
