Mandira vs. Meera

Are Mandira & Meera the same women? Sorry, I am not sure as I have just started watching "KSBKBT" for 1 year now, so don't know the full history. I know that Mandira is actually Karan's biological mother, right? Who is Meera then, & how is she related to the Virani's? Mandira charecter, was first played by Mandira Bedi & then was played by Achint Kaur? Please clarify (in detail) about the 2 woman & their differences etc. Thanks! By the way, I think Achint Kaur is very sexy! High cheek bones, stunning features, good figure, nice eyes & with a good dress sense...not your typical "seedhi-saadhi" type!

On the other hand, Meera was lawyer in Virani's company. She fell in love with Mihir & she became Savita's favorite & she told Tulsi that she would get marry to Mihir one day. when savita saw her with mandira in jail, her eyes opened & she & mandira planned an accident for Savita. Tulsi could not bear the pain of savita & turn off the breathing machine as Savita asked het to do. Meera told everyone that Tulsi killed Savita, she even blackmailed the doctor. Then Mihir chucked Tulsi out of house. Then one day Mihir went to her house drunk, media found Mihir & Meera together. Meera asked Mihir to take her to SN , otherwise she would tell media abt being them together in same room. Then Mihir brought her home. After 20 yrs. leap, Laksh found out meera's truth, on the wedding day, Mihir exposed Meera witht he help of Laksh, then meera went to kill Tulsi but Karan went there with police & had her arrested. She's still in jail but they never showed her after that. Hope this helps.
