Nandini tries to kill herself after Tanya (in her attempt to save Karan) tells the judge that at the time of Gujral's murder, Karan was with her and that both her and Karan have a relationship. Of course the latter was true and it devastated Nandini so much that she was about to take her life. I loved Nandini even more when she had screamed at Tanya when the woman was trying to 'clarify' herself about the 'purity' of her relationship with Karan......while Nandini was rightfully accusing Tanya, that is when Tanya mummy slapped Nandini.......
