Bidai giving Kyunki hard time-article

Last week the TRP (5.4) of the show was better then Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (5.25). But when informed about it Anil Nagpal, the writer of Kyunki played it down.

He says, "True, last week Bidaai had a rating of 5.4 but things have changed now. We are back on top with a TRP of 6.5. Anyways, Bidaai is not our main concern as it is a new show and the serial doesn't come in the 10: 30 pm slot. Also, we are getting positive feedback via fan mails and the audience is liking the present track of Kyunki."

The writer informs, "We change the track depending on the feedback from fans and also from that of our immediate relatives. That's why Kyunki has continuously got high TRPs."

While on the topic of TRPs, he adds, "It always varies from week to week. This week Kyunki has got 6.77 TRP."

About the track, Anil reveals, "We are concentrating on the poverty angle in the Viranis and how it affects relationships. Further, in the next week there will be more drama pertaining to Karan-Nandini. Nandini's past will come back to haunt her while Karan will plunge into depression."

And what about Ram Kapoor's re-entry? "He is still in jail. It will totally depend on the track but in the present scenario, his re-entry won't be suitable. The audience has not liked his character and even asked us what Jai Walia is doing in Kyunki. His entry was to create more drama as Smriti was exiting but now he won't be back," clarifies Anil.

Well, seems there is competition for Kyunki at last!
