Gautami on her Ahmedabad chawl visit


Kyunki's Virani family has gone bankrupt as Trupti Virani has taken away all their property and now they themselves have left Shantiniketan and will be staying in a chawl.
To research as to how Gujarati families stay in chawls, the leading protagonist Gautami Kapoor (Tulsi) has decided to go to Ahmedabad in a few days time.

Speaking about her short trip, Gautami says, "We were supposed to go on December 28 but due to our hectic shooting schedule and my personal work, it was postponed. But most probably in the coming week I have planned to go to Ahmedabad to study the behavior of middle class Gujarati families thoroughly."

Gautami finds such kind of a survey or research very challenging. "This is the first time I am doing something like this for any role. My main purpose will be interactions with locals so let's see how it will go."

She adds, "I don't think there should be any hesitation in interacting with them in Gujarati. I can understand the language and will try to speak with them in Gujarati."

Any other co-stars coming with you? "I don't have any idea. Anyone can come because the Virani family is very large but I'm going that's for sure."
