CHARACTER DISCUSSION:GAUTAM VIRANI

HELLO BOYS N GIRLS... I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS WITH U ON GAUTAM 'S CHARACTER ..HE USED TO BE THE VERY IMPORTANT ONE.. WHEN HE ENTERED THE SHOW.. BUT GRADUALLY EKTA GAVE ALL IMPORTANCE TO KARAN... N SHE RUINED GAUTAM... I REMEMBER THAT HE USED TO BE SO OBEDIENT SON (PROOF:WON THE BEST SON AWARD IN SPA) REMEMBER THE TRACK WHEN MIHIR WAS GETTING MARRY TO MANDIRA.. HE WAS SO MUCH WITH TULSI N HE DID SO MUCH AT THAT TIME.. SO MANY TIME HE FAUGHT WITH KARAN TO SAVE VIRANIS.. BUT WHY SUDDENLY KARAN BECAME THE MAIN HERO N GAUTAM ALMOST HAVE NOTHING TO DO NOW..WHAT ARE THE REASONS??

1) HITEN IS IN EKTA'S FAV LIST

2) SUMEET HAS GAINED SO MUCH WEIGHT :p

BY THE WAY SAHIL WAS A SUPPORTING CHARACTER FROM STARTING.. BUT GAUTAM HAD A MEATY ROLE..BUT NOW EVEN SAHIL IS MUCH MORE IN SERIAL THAN GAUTAM... WHAT U GUYS THINK WHATS THE REASON ... I HOPE U GUYS WILL REPLY

AND YES ON INDYA.COM.. GAUTAM IS STILL IN THE BANNER OF KYUNKI.. BUT ITS SAD THAT U GUYS HAVE REMOVED HIM FROM BANNER ALSO.. N THERE ONLY U WILL SE MIHIR TULSI AND GOMZY ON BANNER..

Firstly,Thanks for starting this discussion on my favorite Kyunki character;Gautam.

Secondly,I fully agree with you on everything you have said about the important role he played in Kyunki & how his role gradually lost its importance for no good reason😡(Karan's entry is no good enough reason to sideline Gautam's character).

As you have pointed out the role he played during the whole Mihir-Mandira episode is ample proof to show that he was totally capable of being the ideal elder-son of the family.But after Karan entered SN, they gradually started showing him as the ideal,perfect son of the family.He was shown as handling all the business responsibilities & to top that it was shown that Tulsi actually came to prefer him & love him more than her own sons!(Come on! How realistic is it for a woman to love her husband's illegitimate child more than her own flesh & blood?) Remember the Gujral murder scenario,when Tulsi was hell-bent on proving Gautam's guilt so Karan could be freed from jail?😡

Yeah,I also noticed that Gautam is nowhere in the Kyunki banner although Damini,Eku & even Mayank are there!😆 They keep showing Damini in small scenes in Kyunki but what is Damini without Gautam or vice-versa? They belong together!

As for Gautam's long absences from the show,well Babystone has explained it all accurately!Take it from her because she is the standing authority here in I-F on Sumeet Sachdev & his roles!😃

First of all thanks a lot on starting this topic on my fav. character..
babystone and HP have so well etched out the reasons..great job..totally agree with all of you that Gautam should have more importance as he is the elder one..
ekta should have shown more scenes related to mayank..also if in tripti murder case if they had an angle with nakul under suspicion and gautam saving him, it would have been a good story..hoping that we get to see more of our favourite jodi..
anyways at least we the the utsav videos to thank for..its a pleasure watching them where gautam's role was given full justice..

You know it Babystone & I know it!& all the Gautam-Damini fans on I-F know it.But the script writers of Kyunki apparently don't know it.A Pity! Also I agree with mvk that Gautam would have had a longer & more significant role in this whole Tripti murder affair if only they had shown that it was Nakul that Gautam was actually trying to protect.Not only would that have made a better story line but it also would have made sense.I mean,Gautam never stopped wanting to get Nakul back did he? If only they had shown more interaction between Gautam & Nakul during that whole scenario it would actually have added more colour to that boring track.

And as mvk so rightly points out the Utsav episodes indeed do full justice not only to Gautam's character but also toGautam-Damini jodi.
