Let's consider the current track from Gautam's point of view. Remember all he knows is that Rathe was Karan's paid witness from the trial (though we know it's not true) and he has seen Karan meeting Rathe as well. The part of the phone conversation he heard between Shobha and Abhi plus whatever Abhi told him (lies lies and lies but Gautam isn't aware of that at the moment) only gives Gautam one perspective on the issue. ~~~ Based on what Gautam has seen and heard do you think he is just doing what any other brother/person would have done had they seen such and heard whatever they have? Obviously we know we shouldn't trust all we see/hear but think about it if you were in Gautam's situation, keeping in mind his character.

i agree...if i were in gautam's spot i wud do wht he is doing cuz he doesnt noe de truth behind all of dis....gautam is rite in his own perspective and wrong in others

Within 2 weeks Ekta has managed to get a scope on 2 different types of cancer (though she still fails to delve into the issue and show its reality but that's another topic...). Tulsi misunderstood Jeetuji at first but now she knows he's doing this because he is dying and wants to prepare his wife to live in the world without him. This question builds on what Lakshmi had posted reg. "too much cancer?" Perhaps by showing another disease Ekta could have increased awareness of another grave illness in India or perhaps point of showing cancer was to make it similar to Tulsi's situation. Do you think Ekta should have shown another character (Jeetuji) with cancer or should she have shown some other fatal disease if she had point of Jeetuji dying and why?

heres my point of view,
1.gautam was never shown a matured charecter.he always behaves in a stupid manner then realises his mistake and then says sorry,i just wished that something else was shown this time and gautam shuld have behaved in a matured way thinking about what karan did for him when he was kidnapped.
2.yes i think too much of cancer is shown i mean even if a man is not dying he can teach his wife but not in the way jeetuji is shown teaching her.but i feel that if a husband or a wife is about to die the couple definitely comes near bcos they realise each others importance when they are about to lose each other.

my answer to the first question is that gautam sshould have thinked about it before doubting karan , and he shouldn't have listened to mohini, he shoud have thought about the time when karan risked his own life, went against his own real mother and saved him, i know that gautam in a way believes that mohini is telling the truth because at the court outside he saw karn givin money to rathi, if he even had common sense before creating rows he should have asked karan quietly.
gautams character has always been like this, he acts like a kid.
no offence but ekta should cut him off coz he's just spoiling the drama.

my answer to the second question is that ekta shouldn't always use only one disease always as cancer because even in most of her dramas she's just used one type of disease cancer as if there isnt no other disease, because even in kasautii sneha had cancer.

Good to see such healthy discussions on this forum.

1. Regarding Gautam's behavior - We understand that he is acting on the basis of what he has seen and heard but then why everytime he forgets that Karan is also a part of their family and he is also a brother to Shobha. Especially after what all Karan did for Gautam when he was kidnapped, Gautam should have atleast thought once about Karan and should have tried to know the truth. The character of Gautam has one major weekness that he trust just anybody except his own people and because of him now we are seeing Damini and Ganga fighting which is very sad.

2. For the Cancer issues - I really do not feel that there is any need to show all these things. I am not sure if this will generate any awareness in our society. I think it was done more to extend the stiry line or to catch more viewers by introducing Jitender into it.

i m new to the india forum and i do watch kyunki now regularly.....don't u think after all this how come the family don't trust karan.....this is not fair ok.......i think the serial need a big twist out of this ......bring something new......not just the same stuff ! well this is my thought..........c yah
