Chap 1
At the Acharya Mansion "Swarg", guests are arriving for the home coming party thrown by Sid's parents for Sid. The celebrations are at the peak of grandeur, and the guests include some of the big industrialists from the city. A security guard checks each and every invitation before letting people inside…Sid, is getting ready in his second floor room, which over looks the back yard and has an attached balcony-terrace, and a large "Jhula" in the balcony. Sid cant decide which suit he should wear..
S: Kya museebat hai yaar! Yeh parties itni formal kyon hoti hai! Koi, simple dresscode nahi rakh sakte kya? Damn!
Sumedha walks in with a gift box in her hand…she keeps it on the bed, and tip-toeingly goes behind Sid and hugs him from behind…and shouts "Booo" in his ears. Sid, taken aback holds her hands, and turns around…
S: Sumi, to kabhi nahi sudhregi!! Ab to mein pakka bahra ho jaunga…
Su: Nahi bhaiya, mein thodi na apko bahra hone dungi..(and giggles) mein phir se chilaungi aur apka kaan theek ho jayega!
S: Tu aur tere logics, Bhagwan hi sambhale tujhe..filhal to mujhe maloom nahi ki mein kya pahnuin…
Su: Bhaiya, aap ko to, bahana chahiye, taiyar na hone ka!
S: arey, mein kya karuin, mere paas sare suits, hain, aur Papa ne, Indian theme ki party rakh di, mere paas sherwani kahain se ayegi!
Su: Rahne diji..aap ka baas chale, to baniyan aur pajama mein party attend karo ge!
Sid runs behind her as she tries to escape from getting into Sid's hand…Sid finally catches her and pinches her cheeks..
S: kya boli..kya boli tu…
Su: Sorry bhaiya…sorry sorry…please chodo na..mummy!
S: accha accha..ab chup kar..
Su: uff..khair wohh chodo, Ma ne aapke liye, yeh sherwani bheja hai…aap use pahan lena..aur jaldi niche ajao…
S: ooh, nice..Mom ki pasand aaj bhi pakki hai..chal tu bhaag ab yahain se..
And Sid pushes Sumi out of the door. And goes to get ready.
Namrata, Sids mom, is attending to guests, Sumi, dressed in a beautiful peacock blue lahanga choli comes down with her friends and Namrata looks up at her with a smile. She excuses herself from the guests and goes towards Sumi..
N: Aye, Sumi, sun..
Su: Hain ma..
N: Siddhu taiyaar hua ki nahi?
Su: Abhi kahain Ma, mein to abhi usse kapade de kar aye huin, abhi aap aur ek ghanta wait kar lo..beta nahi, beti hai wohh tumhara! Mujhse bhi jayada time lagata hai! Hehe.
N: Chup kar..chal tu ja, mein dekhti huin…
As Namrata starts walking towards the stairs, Rajbir, comes up to her..
R: Nimmo, Mein dekhta huin Siddhu ko..
Namrata shyly smiles…
N: Kya aap bhi ! sabhi kya samne Nimmo bulate hain! Log kya kahenge!
R: kya kahenge, yahi na ki, is umra mein bhi kitna pyaar hai..
And Raj winks at her..Namrata pushes him shyly and goes towards the guests, as raj goes up the stairs to Sid's room…
Sid is humming away to glory, the song, "tumse milne ki tamanna hai..pyaar ka irada hai.." and trying to adjust his sherwani.. Raj enters his room and stands at the door, smiling…Sid, continues his song and looks up at the mirror, and finds Raj smiling at him..he turns back embarrassed.
S: Papa, aap…kaab aye..wohh mein, baas taiyaar ho gaya..
Raj comes closer to Sid..
R: Wohh to mujhe dikh raha hai…waise, kisse milne ki tamanna hai, hain?
S: Kya, Papa, aap bhi na..mein to aise hi…gaa raha tha..
R:Chalo hamein nahi batana..na sahi..apni Ma ki bata dena..waise kaise ho tum beta?
S: Theek Papa…bas, ab company join karna hai, aur apke ashirwad ke saath, kaam shuru karna hai..
R: Hain, beta…ab meri umra ho chali hai, sochta huin, saab tum bachoin ke naam karke, mein aur Nimmo, ghumne chala jaun..
S: Papa,apke dekh rekh ki zaroorat hai, Achraya Industries ko aur hamein bhi…ap kahin nahi jaoge..
Poorab comes up to the room….
P: Dad, Bhaiya..hum kabse apka intezar kar rahe hain neeche…
R: Arey hain, Siddhu, jaldi niche a jao..
S: Ji, mein abhi aya…
Raj and Poorab leave and Sid finishes up getting ready.
Sumedha gets a call on her cell phone..
Su: Hello?
Caller: Hello Sumi..
Su: Tum..tumhari himmat kaise hui phone karne ki..
Caller: Himmat hui hai, aur age bahut kuch hogi..
Su: Khabar daar Kabir..ayeinda, mujhe call karne ki zurrat mat karna..
Kabir: Arey arey, call katne se pahle yeh sunti jao..
He plays a recorded voice..and Sumi is shocked to hear it…
Su: Kya chahte ho tum?
K: pachas lakh…muh band rakhne ke liye..baki ka rakam baad mein..
And Kabir laughs..and cuts the phone…
Sumedha looks worried and rushes up to her room…Namrata notices this, as she walks towards Sumi's room, she notices Sid coming down..and forgets about Sumi..
N: Siddhu…aao beta..dekho saab tumhara intezaar kar rahe hai..
Sid comes down and Nimmo introduces to some partners of the company and guests…everyone is very impressed with Sid…He keeps looking out at the door…Somebody taps him from behind…Sid turns back..and is pleasantly surprised..
The lady introduces herself…
"Hello Siddharth, remember me? Parul Mahajan."
