Chap 7
Lakshya was in his room, reading some papers…Tripti walked in…
T: Lakshya beta, kaal, tum ghar par hi rahna…mujhe kuch kaam hai..
L: Ma..mujhe office ke kaam se bahar jana hai…kya kaam tha apko?
T: Bahar? Kahain jana hai?
L: Ganga Ma, ka phone aya tha, wohh chati hai ki mein Papa ke saath Lonavala chaluin..
T: Koi zaroorat nehi hai..Papa sambhal lenge..aur tum ghar par hi rahna..
And with that Tripti leaves a visibily puzzled and thoughtful Lkashya in his room…
Ganga is in her house…
The song "Tu jo nehi to, kuch bhi nehi" is playing in the background..she thinks about all the things that went wrong with her and Saahil's relation..she thinks about when Tripti had just come between them, how sour their relationship had turned..and how desparately she wanted Saahil back…She had tears in her eyes thinking, that so many years later, tomorrow she will be with him again, even though only for a few hours, she will be with the one person she loved the most in her life..and the one son she gave birth to, but could never call her own..and tomorrow she will finally have her family…Her cell phone rings and brings her back from her trance…she smiles to herself..as she sees the phone is from Lakshya..
G: Hello , beta.
L: Ganga Ma, kya kaal mera jana zaroori hai??
G: Kyon beta? Kuch kaam agaya tha kya?
L:Nehi ma,wohh..arey, aap chinta mat kijiye, main apko kaal milta huin..
G: Agar nehi a sakte to koi baat nehi beta…
L: Nehi Ma..mein apko kaal saath baje milta huin…Ab mujhe jana chahiye..
And before Ganga could say anything..Lakshya hung up..
Ganga felt a weird uneasiness… and then she let that feeling go as just her motherly love..
Only time would tell if she was right or wrong…
Tripti sneaks out of the house without anyone asking her, what she does not notice is Karan sitting in the dinning hall…Karan feels something is not right and walks upto the main door..Tripti does not see him, gets into a waiting car outside the house and leaves…Karan is worried and goes upto Saahil's room to tell…as he walks towards their room, Tanya stops him….
T: Kahain ja rahe ho Karan?
K: Saahil se milna hai..
T: Itne raat ko??
K: Hain, kuch kaam tha…
T: Aisa kya kaam agaya jo kal tak nehi ruk sakta??
K: zaroori nahi hai, ki har kaam tumhein bata kar karuin..
T: Janane ka haq banta hai mujhe..
K: Haq ki baat kar hi rahi ho to, suno…tumhara haq banta hai ki, tum Ma ho kar, bachoin ko sahi aur galat ka fark karna sikhao..yeh nehi ki unke galtiyoin par parda dalo..
T: Manthan tum hara beta tha..
K: Beta to Ansh bhi tha na, Tulsi ma ka? Apna beta..
T: Hain, mein tulsi ma jaisi mahan nehi huin..nehi kar sakti mein unke jaisi kaam
K: Hain, to fir, haq ki baat bhi mat karo..
He leaves a stunned Tanya behind, and agitated walks away, forgetting all about talking with Saahil…
Tripti reaches an unknown place…from behind some trees, Rishabh walks out..
T: Rishabh…kal lakshya bhi lonavala ja raha hai,Saahil ke saath…
R: To??
T: To ka kya Matlab…ek problem tha..ab do hai!!
R: Laksya hai na uska naam? Kya bigad lega wohh??
T: Hamare plan ko choupat bhi kar sakta hai…mein to chatithi ki sirf saahil hi chalein, taki hamara plan kamayab ho jaye, bina kisi problem ke…use bewakoof banana, bahut aasan hai!!
R: hmm…don't, worry Tripti..mera plan fool proof hai..ab tumhari Ganga maiya, khud ajaye to bhi, mein peeche nehi hatunga…bahut intezaar kiya hai…Kah do apni bete se..ki , agar aur bhi deals karna chata hai, apni zindagi mein, to is deal se peeche hat jaye…Mere aur is deal ke beech ab koi nehi ayega…Koi nehi…
Tripti feels uncomfortable with the way Rishabh spewed his venomous greed…she felt scared…for herself..but shrug it off as just her mind playing games…
The next morning, everyone meets at the dinning table…tripti is missing…Tulsi asks Saahil..
T: Saahil, Tripti nehi dikh rahi hai?
S: kahin bahar gayi hai Ma..
T: Itni subah, kahain gayee hai?
Suddenly, karan remembers her leaving the house, late last night..
K: Saahil, tumse kuch baat karni thi,
S: Hain Karan, bolo,..
K: Wohh..kaal raat ko maine..
Mohini interrupts..
M: Kya baat hai saahil..subah gayi..yah poori raat….and she smiles slyly…
Tulsi gives her a stern look..
M: Nehi, wohh, mein kah rahi thi ki….Arey archita beta…
She shouts her name and runs towards her room…Karan starts to say something..
Before he can complete…Tripti walks into the house..she starts to go up directly…
Saahil stops her from behind..
S: Tripti..
T: Off ho Saahil…jab dekho tokte rahte ho..
S: Kahain thi ab tak??
T: Tumse Matlab?
S: Mein tumhara Pati huin..
By now, the whole family is looking towards the ensuing fight..
T: Pati bane kab tum mere, jo ab jata rahe ho?? Hamesha to Ganga ke age peeche dolte rahte ho…jo tumhein gaas bhi nehi deti..
Saahil shouts..: Tripti..
T: Chilao maat saahil…mein kahin bhi jaun, kuch bhi karuin, tumse kya?
S: Tripti..bakwas band karo…aur apne kamre mein jao..
T: Khabardar jo fir kabhi mujhse unchi awaz mein baat ki to…
S: To kya tripti? Kya kar logi tum?? Itne saaloin se sabr kar raha huin…aur nehi..
T: hain hain kyon nehi…Ganga ke saath kam karte karte…tum hare par jo nikal aye hain..
Saahil, gives one tight slap to Tripti…everybody in the house is shocked..Tulsi comes running towards Saahil…
Tu: Saahil yeh kya kiya tumne..
S: Wohi badima..jo bahut pahle karna chaiye tha…
And saahil leaves for his room..leaving a stunned , embarrassed and reddened Tripti,before the family…
Tulsi tells everyone to leave for their work and rooms..she talks to Tripti..
Tu: Jao apne kamre mein jao..
T: Ap to kuch kahiye hi maat..pahle to is ghar par tulsi kah kar baith gayi hai…chali kyon nehi jati..
Tu: Mein kaun huin..iska chinta tum mat karo..tum kya ho..aur kya rahogi..iske bare mein socho..
With that..tulsi leaves for the kitchen..
Tripti, standing on the stairs, humiliated and angry..thought to herself and..muttered under her breath…Saahil, tumhein mein sirf aaj ke raat ke liye sah rahi huin…uske baad mein is tamache ka, tum ko aisa jawab dungi…sari zindagi bhar gunjegi, tumhare Ganga aur Tulsi Ma ke kanoi mein…yeh, tripti ka wada hai…
