Smriti Irani's exit from 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' has caused public wrath as people all over the country have expressed displeasure over Smriti's departure including our readers on BollywoodBlog. Looks like the public's fury has had some affect on Balaji Telefilms as Ekta Kapoor has made a statement saying that Tulsi is Smriti Irani's property and she has taken a 3-month break from the show due to health reasons as the actress had a miscarriage.

Ekta also shared that she has been more than accommodating for Smriti and had reduced her shooting days to around 4-5 days a month as Smriti was busy with her home production. Ekta also assured that Smriti can be back whenever she is ready and that Gautami would be given something better to work on.

So all you Smriti fans out there can pray that she recovers soon so she can head for the shoot, 'Kyunki Smriti Hi Best Bahu Thi'.

In life you win some and lose some, and the last three days have been quite had for 'Tulsi'.

Smriti Irani, who was expecting her third baby unfortunately, had a miscarriage in Dahanu. This is not the first time that Smriti had problems carrying a baby. Doctor advised Smriti to rest for a couple of days but, as that would lead to delaying her 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' shoot, the actress wanted to complete the bank before quitting the show.

Smriti reported to shoot yesterday and Ekta Kapoor was so impressed with Smriti's sincerity that she has asked Smriti to stay on with the soap.

Ekta and Smriti have been best of buddies in the past so this was the least that Ekta could do to cheer up her depressed friend.

So after speculations of Gautami or Padmini Kolaphuri being the next 'Tulsi', the truth is that Smriti continues to be in the show, and all you fans out there can sing in joy, "Kyunki 'Smriti' hi 'Tulsi' hai."
