Hansikaa Motwani, the female lead in Himesh Reshammiya's debut film as an actor Aaap Kaa Suroorr, has rubbished claims that she took injections of any kind to look mature in the film.
"I don't know whether any such kind of surgery happens. I surfed the net to find out about it but never found anything. It was only because of my hairstyle and make-up that I looked the way I did in the film," says the 16-year-old collegian.
"I am mature myself because I am in college and every day I meet various people and learn from them," adds Hansikaa.
How did she get the role? "Director Prashant Chadda's sister approached me for the role and after looking at the script, I felt it would be a good launching pad for me as a lead actress." However she was kept away from the promotions despite being the heroine of the film."
Defending the decision, Hansikaa says, "I think if I would have come in front of the media that time you wouldn't have had so many questions to ask but now there is a lot of curiosity about me and my work in the film. So it's basically proved to be a masterstroke."
Is it true that she used to call Mallika Sherawat 'aunty' during the shoot of AKS? "I don't know from where these rumours come. Why should I call her aunty? She is so down to earth and professional. On sets we used to talk very normally and were very close. I have learnt a lot from her professional behaviour," says Hansikaa, praising the Bollywood bombshell.
