Rakshanda turns negative for Kyunki...
Rakshanda Khan has quit playing the good bahu Tanya in Kyunki… and has turned into a wicked, score-settling woman who along with her sister-in-law trick the family into believing that their sane mother-in-law is mentally unstable. The audience isn't shocked as this isn't the first time Rakshanda has made someone's life hell on screen. In Jassi and in Kasamh Se too she tormented the poor leads, so is it fun being wicked? Rakshanda doesn't agree that her character is cruel at all. She says, "Tanya has sacrificed a lot for the family, but Tulsi deliberately brought Nandini into the house to hurt Tanya's feelings. She also sent Manthan to jail for no valid reason. Tanya and the other bahus feel that they have lived in Tulsi's shadow for too long and have suffered a lot, so now they want to retort."
Every time someone turns negative in a soap their track automatically gets prominence, but isn't she feeling a tad bit insecure that she might be an exception to this rule? After all her on-screen husband Hiten Tejwani is being sidelined so that he can concentrate on KZK and Gauri Pradhan who completes the love triangle also is not being seen at all. And to make matters worse a new Tulsi will soon be entering the show.
A confident Rakshanda says, "Certain characters are intrinsic to Kyunki and the show can't do without them. Since it's a saas-bahu serial Tanya can't be ignored. If that happens the character will lose its appeal."
