After KT got married to Eklavya, Lakshya was in a very bad state so everyone decided to get him married to Lakshmi..but on the day of the wedding, AFTER the wedding has taken place, Tripti finds out that Lakshmi's parents are totally kangal and so she forced Lakshmi to run away, threatened her I think...and so she ran away. They haven't shown her face yet..even Lakshya, KT, Sahil, Tripti, Baa etc haven't seen her..
