13..13..13Suroor I've been switching between film trailers and promos just to catch a glimpse of Aap ka Suroor. The title screams out that it's a Himesh Reshammiya creation and the promos are priceless. There's one where a cap-clad HR looks intensely at this young thing (really, when did this child artiste get out of frocks?). But the minute she tries to touch him, the Gayatri mantra starts playing in the background. There's another with Mallika Sherawat who very coyly tells HR that he will fall in love with her sooner or lat- er. But our hero spurns her with a deadpan, "Maine sirf ussiko pyar kiya hai.." I'veheardof athirdonefrom a friend where Bambaiyya rickshaw drivers land up in Germany to save HR from the cops. Kajjal, Sony 8 pm , On Monday night, Kajjal, ends up on a train (and a very fake one at that), sporting a blank look. A polite man tries to help her out and obviously every- one assumes they're a couple. She tags along when he gets off at some Bhadapur station and conveniently faints when he asks her where she lives. Our poor man brings her home and calls the doc. Next thing you know, Kajjal's pointing to him and shyly say- ing, "that's my husband." And the doc pronounces that she's lost her memory. Oh my.. these guys are so so unpredictable! What could possibly follow next?! Atlonglast Love Story, Sab TV 9 pm , Anurag Basu's Love Story's fortunately lives up to expec- tations. The scenes unravel like a film and the performances are excellent. The only grumble I have against it is - it's set in Delhi and I real- ly wish they'd give us more location.. everything is obvi- ously shot on a set. Mrs Virani, who could have easily overcome the nurses at the pagalkhana all by herself, chose to make a devious plan, which involved a sprint down the drainage pipe. After much huffing and puffing and mad-talk from Mad-Mayank, they made it out and smiled at each other.
