here Nakul finds out that he is not originally Ganga's son and in SS Shagun aka Meera is told that she is not Alaknanda's daughter but Vasundhara. What is interesting here is the reactions of both these characters.
Meera has resorted to tantrums and extreme crying...she wont forgive her mom for having hidden this from her. Whereas, here in Kyunki, apart from the initial shock of this knowledge, Nakul seems to have accepted this truth rather complacently...as if its a common occurrence to find that parents can be interchanged right left and centre. Somehow i find Meera's reaction more natural than Nakul's. He has already accepted Mayank as his true brother and supports him even when he is so patently wrong and has forgotten the bonds of years with Lakshya.
