Tanna was in tears when she thought she had accidentally shot her cameraman while filming a shoot-out sequence

It wasn't April 1, but the cast and crew of Sony's Ek Ladki Anjaani Si decided to pull a fast one on Karisma Tanna (Ayesha).

The actress had to enact a scene in which she's holding a gun and pulls the trigger on her co-star Kabir Sadanand.

During this scene, she was required to give a side look overlooking the shoulder of the cameraman Shabbir.

Describing the episode, Karisma says, "It was a usual day at work.

Everything seemed normal and I was readying for the shot. Since it was an intense scene, Kabir and I were discussing how to go about.

I had to point my gun at him and shoot. The cameraman was behind Kabir and I had to look over his shoulder."

However the drama started when Karishma pulled the trigger and the cameraman suddenly fell down.

"Suddenly, everyone started screaming. People rushed towards Shabbir and the entire unit was petrified. I didn't know what to do as it happened in a matter of seconds," says Tanna.

Teary-eyed

When the assistants and spot boys carried Shabbir on a stretcher outside the set, Tanna was in tears. "It was the most scary sight that I had seen. For a second, I thought that my gun was actually loaded and I had shot him."

But as soon as the crew realised that Karisma was about to burst in tears, the cameraman came running inside and yelled 'bakra!' "I was so furious that I was actually going to beat someone up.

I had no clue that the unit had ganged up to pull a prank on me. They even applied fake blood on Shabbir's shirt and made it look real. They had been planning this forever!" she says, in mock disdain.
