Your first crush...
My first girlfriend in the eleventh standard. It was admission time and she was taking admission at MMK college. I saw her there and that very moment decided to join the college.
Your first date...
With the same girl in the college library. We didn't speak at all. Just kept looking and smiling. Well, I was nervous, she was smiling. I even forgot to give her the rose I got for her.
Your idea of a perfect date...
Somewhere in space! I think it would be great on the moon. No need for a candle there. None of this city hustle-bustle, just sweet aliens.
What was your first relationship like?
It was beautiful. We went around for two years. But things didn't work out. Later she married somebody else.
What qualities do you look for in a woman?
She's got to be a wonderful woman. Whatever it takes to be that. Not everyone can be wonderful. It's quite an effort. And it's the effort that I'm looking for.
What do you think about lust versus love?
There are two ways — One, when it's love at first sight and the other when it begins with lust but eventually turns into love.
What is romance to you?
Keeping the relationship alive. It's a must. If there's no romance, it's a compromise. And I prefer romance.
Who'd you like to get dirty with on an island?
The fishes and the crabs! Maybe once in a while the biggies... the sharks!
Do you believe in the institution of marriage?
Yes. A marriage is not just a union between two individuals, but two families. And the two families play a major role in keeping the couple together or keeping them apart.
Your take on infidelity?
I won't say it's impossible and can never happen. But I would definitely try to be loyal to my woman. Now that's not easy for men because it does take a lot. But one has to hold on and value what you have.
