I don't understand why people keep saying that mayank can't be the rapist cos he has the mentality of a twelve yr old.
I mean (no offense) have you seen how twelve yr old males act today!? They are so randy, sexually-hyped, and testronene fuelled! In my school when i was twelve almost all of them in IT class were trying to download cheep po*nos, and a few of them were even bragging about having sex wit older girls (an believe me in sum cases this was true). I admit that jus because they were the way they were, does'nt make them rapists. But still if sumone told me a twelve yr old had raped sum girl, then i wud be shocked but not unbelieving of its validity of truth.
I agree in Mayank's case that its really streching the plot 2 make him the rapist,as he acts far younger than twelve 4 me(i actually thougt that he had the mentality of a 9 yr old!), an also he seems a generally sweet kid who wouldn't even hurt a fly. Still this is ekta's show an stranger things have happeneed. Remember tanya's 2yr pregnancy?

I just hope the rapist is revealed soon and the storyline isn't dragged till eternity!!

I think its Mayank. Although it does not apply to multiple scherosis, many people with limited mental facility do retain full physical mobility. Besides Manthan mixed something in both mayank and kt's drink. He specifically mentioned mixing something in BOTH their drinks. So if it is Mayank then there is a good possibilty that Eklaviya will take the blame to protect him. (I mean he loves his little brother more than anything.)So Kt and nandini will obviously blame him (kt because she already suspects him, nandini because she is prejudiced against him) and eklaviya will find out it was his little brother and become the scapegoat. Then once he is fully jailed, tulsi will find out it was mayank all along. She will face another of her moral decisions: should she protect the innocent grandson or the abnormal one?

I agree.It is not unlikely for a 12 year old child to rape someone, because there have been cases of that before.

But it's not just that he acts like a 12 year old, and that's why people need to stop saying that. He is acutally mentally challenged and has an underdevelloped brain which causes him to act like a 'child'. With his condition, it would make it impossible to get such a thing like rape in his head.

i think its manthan because at the end of todays episode manthan was looking awkward when bhoomi was talkin bad bout da person who raped kt n stuff...
