Manav Vij aka the gawky Joydeep of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is all set to get a makeover. The actor, who plays a simpleton, will trade his trademark specks and oily tresses for a suave look. The track will see him getting transformed into a macho guy, in the coming weeks.

What prompted the production house to call for a drastic makeover? Apparently, more than three thousand viewers have written in asking for a smarter Joydeep. Says Manav Vij, "There is a public demand for the new look. People everywhere have been telling me that they want to see me in a different avatar. Someone suggested that Hrithik Roshan's look in Dhoom 2 might work for me."

Adds good friend and co-star Pulkit Samrat (Lakshya) says "There have been over three thousand blogs asking for Joydeep's transformation. He has been accepted well by the viewers and now people would like to see the real him."

Presently, the creative team has been brainstorming over the actor's new look. "We have been toying with the idea for sometime now. So far the viewers have been sympathising with his character. After the makeover he'll be more confident and presentable. Also, his equation with other characters will change," informs creative head Doyal Som.

😆 No one can look as hot as Hrithik. 😳

Anywaiz,I don't understand why they have to change someone's 'appearence' in order to make them more liked and comfident. Isn't that a bit superficial?

Oh,well...I wish his attitude and personality would change without his looks...but whatever,let's see how he looks after!!
