The Virani family will be celebrating the festival of colours with great zest this time since it will be the first Holi for the newer members of the Virani family. In the Holi episode, the viewers will find a lot of drama and agony but with a twist in the tale.
Joydeep (Manav Vij) was heard screaming "Rapist aayaa bhago, Bhumi isse bachke rehna." Manthan (Amit Tondon) too had something similar to say. "Rapist aaya maro isko."
Lakshya (Pulkit Samrat) on the other hand jokingly said, "Tumhari himmat kaise hui aisa kam karne ki."
"Oh! God", was all Reshmi Ghosh (Bhumi) had to say.
In all the excitement they forgot that the press was waiting for something juicy. Someone on the sets did realise it and asked the cast not to reveal the suspense. But by that time, it was a bit too late.
In the meantime, we managed to have a chat with the man who is likely to be central attraction of the serial during the Holi episode, Rahul Lohani (Mayank Virani).
What is your role in Kyunki?
Earlier the track was not focused on me. The Virani family is huge but in this Holi track, I definitely have some interesting work up my sleeve. I'm turning negative as I unknowingly rape one girl during Holi. The previous episodes have also seen some drama what with KT (Krishna Tulsi) getting engaged leading to Eklavya's character slowly turning negative. KT even received some unknown calls which can be co-related to the Holi drama. The Holi episode will be telecast soon.....
You are playing the role of a mentally challenged so how difficult the role was this to play?
It is very challenging to play such a role. Incidentally, this is not the only serial where I play such a role In Jab Love Hua, I play a similar character called Bhola. But for playing the role of Mayank, I have done lots of research and even visited many orphanages.
Tell us something about yourself?
"I'm a Delhiite, originally from Nainital, Uttaranchal. I am a Science graduate from Hindu College."
