Exactly one year 4m then Tulsi gave mercy death to Savita after a lot of organisations protested against this act....

But now it is being practised in real....there r so many example around me where ppl relatives themselves have decided to put off the ventilator after which a person dies(if he is living cuz of ventilator)

Do u think this is right?

Like, everything else... It can be argued both ways...
One side says that why keep a person you love so much, in such pain? Isnt it better to free them?
The other side says, we are noone to decide about anyone else's death... All that is left to a Superior Being, watching over us...

So, whichever way you go, there will be arguments... I, personally, am too confused about this issue to make a decision... 😕

well i support it cuz last year when epidemic of Chikun Gunia was struck to the city there were so many ppl whose kidneys failed n most parts of the body were not functioning n in this case many of my relatives were in the same condition as it was shown of Savita or even worse than her...n all aur family members themselves told to take out life supporting machine or ventilator...cuz it is really very painful for the person even to bear n for the relatives n loved ones to see tht person in pain.....today one of my uncle died cuz ventilator was removed..i support it.... 😊

good topic,

reality is maybe, my best friend was involved in a car crash which cost him his legs he was in icu for 3 days but the docs said it was the machines that were keeping him alive, his parents turned them off letting him go.

depends on the situation really are they brain dead, are they in pain, will they be able to live normally.

It actually depends on the severity of the situation - a person with a broken jawline, hypothermia and spinal can survive without Life-Support, while a person with internal bleeding can't.

Mercy killing shouldn't be performed at home or without the assistance of a physician. You NEED a physician to carry it out otherwise anyone can sue you for delibrately commiting a murder. You can't just turn off the life support system without letting any authority know. Either a physician carries it out or a member of the family does under the guidance of a physician.

If I was on Life Support,I'd wanna be alive and not have the plugged pulled on me! 😭 Who cares,I'll live in pain, atleast I'll live... 😛 OK.

But...seriously now, I agree with both Anu and Nimmi. 😳

killing is still killing no matter how they call it as mercy or cruel. i myself against killing or suicide. we need to live our life to the fullest 😊 . if you got your life back, you know how good your feeling is. i saw someone close to me fight for his life. he never said he gives up with his cancer. now he is clear from stage 4 cancer 😉
