Aa ra ra, Daksha is back

Ketki Dave makes peace with Ekta Kapoor, will make a comeback in a new avatar in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

Ekta Kapoor and Ketki Dave have buried the hatchet and how! Ekta has decided to have Daksha chachi, the 'aa ra ra' woman from Junagarh back in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Few years back the producer and the actress had fallen out and Ketki had made an exit from the family drama.

Ketki seems to be very excited about her comeback. "Although I left the show years ago, people still remember me as Daksha. After leaving Kyunki... all the offers that I got were on the lines of Daksha. However, I did not want to be typecast and chose to decline all such offers. Later, I thought why not act in the original soap itself. Kyunki… is still one of the most important shows," she says.

As for making peace with Ekta she says, "I left the show, because there were some issues between us. But bygones are bygones. I have forgotten everything. And why not? We have to work in the same industry. Ekta and I have spoken to each other many times in parties, or whenever we met. This deal has been finalised by the production house. I am looking forward to meet her personally."

Ketki feels that her character is integral to the storyline of the show and that she had to come back to the show. "Not only that, my character was one of the most important on the show, since its inception.

I have been asked to return several times but this is the only time that things worked out really well," she adds.

Will she reappear in a new avatar? "I don't think that viewers need an explanation of my comeback. I will be just portraying myself, I guess. The shooting is yet to start and I will be on screen from next week," Ketki says.

Razia Rizvi, creative head of Kyunki... when contacted confirmed the news, "Yes, she is coming back. We wanted her in the serial. Moreover, there is a lot of serious drama happening on the show. So, we needed a fun element to break the monotony and give relief to the viewers. And yes, she is getting a makeover."

oh, I hated her!!!! Now they will unnecesarily drag the stroy line with her non stop chatter....

yh..already this Mohini and her daughter have been dragging the show with unnecessary silly jokes and they remind me of Indu Gandhi. Waste of space and time. Mohini used to be good..now even her track is very silly.

hey i reallly like mohini. i think shes funny,atleast there r few stuff not serious in the show
