I agree with you because remember.... a long time ago, after the leap in one episode where Manthan calls Sahil a liar and Karan says that Sahil does have flaws but one flaw that he doesn't have is lieing, coz if Sahil wanted to be at the top he had many opprtunities to do so with lies. So I think Karan is starting to doubt Abhir and wondering about what Sahil said or did. Unless he's just plain stupid and blindsided by his own ego, then that's a different story.
