The 'Festival of Lights'- Diwali is one of the most significant and widely celebrated festivals of India. A day of family bonding and love, it is an event when people illuminate their houses with diyas and candles. And this Diwali the season of festivities will become even more brighter as STAR Plus brings for its viewers a special two hour episode - 'Tanishq presents Diwali Dhamaka' on 14 October - Satuday from 7 PM to 9 PM only on STAR Plus!
Diwali Dhamaka the first ever special evening, promised to be celebrated in the most memorable way-will add glitter and sparkle to the festive spirit, as it brings the Viranis, Agarwals, Lambas and all the other family members of the STAR Parivaar under one roof, joyous to mark the occasion and mood of togetherness…then be it the worst of enemies or the best of friends they all will be seen sashaying and jiving to the rhythmic beats of the latest bollywood numbers in the best of their ghagra-cholis, sherwanis and fineries.
A star studded affair as the entire glitterati of small screen descend to create a glamorous event specially put together for the viewers. Then be it the moves of Priyanka (Sangeeta Ghosh) on the beautiful song dholna or Parvati's (Saakshi Tanwar) spell binding performance on the famous track Kangana Re and Chalka Chalka both featured on her favourite heroine Rani Mukherji from the films, Paheli and Saathiya respectively or the double act by Komolika (Urvashi) and Indroneil (Sikandar) on the tunes of latest blockbusters Beedi Jalaile and Namak Ishq Ka from the blockbuster Omkara.
However leading the sequences, will remain televisions first family… Virani parivar's front runners- Tulsi (Smriti Irani) and Mihir (Ronit Roy) along with Kahiin To Hoga's lead Kashish (Aamna Sharif) who rock 'n' roll together as they dance on the Bollywood track- Rock n Roll Soniye... from the movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. If you thought… This is all?? Then, just hold your breath… as to jazz up the evening further are be the performances by the famous on screen couple Krishna Tulsi and Lakshya (Kyunki Saas…) and some unforgettable group performances by Nimmo, Bhoomi, Swayam, Manthan, Rishi and Kumkum… And a boys v/s girls Antakshri led by 10 members in each team!
This all and much more, but only with those finishing touches of the glamorous host- Rakshanda Khan and effervescent Ali Asgar, who will add that extra zing and dash to the entire evening!
