A get-together for jodis of both the seasons! | |||||

As the countdown begins for Star One's big ticket reality show Nach Baliye 2, the channel went ahead and hosted a party bringing together the hot jodis from both the seasons. The party was held at a suburban lounge Squeeze.
Bhaktiar and Tanaaz looked well co-coordinated and were gleefully posing for the paparazzi. Hiten - Gauri were seen giving company to their closest pals Yash - Gauri Tonk, Arjun Punj - Gurdeep set the dance floor on fire; we noticed Gurdeep grooving to the beedi number from Omkara in a rehearsed fashion (think there's gonna perform that on NB 2!) Tina preferred to hang around her hubby Hussain for most of the time and Sharad - Keerti were quiet enthu about having a blast! Manav wasn't alone for a long time as wife Shweta Kawatra did join in later. But it was a Raja Chaudhary who almost seemed lost without wife Shveta Tiwari as she couldn't make it to the do. And till the cake cutting ceremony, he was almost ignored by the media! The last new jodi to make an entry was Ketki and Rasik Dave. Joining in the revelry and providing a whole lot of encouragement were the couple-contestants from the first season as well as the choreographers from Season 2, who were caught unwinding and gearing up for the competition! Channel representation was by Star's Deepak Segal and Shailaja Kejriwal.
Talking about the couples from season 1, Shilpa Saklani came in minus hubby Apoorva, Delnaaz - Rajeev Paul exchanged formalities with everyone, Amit- Neeru looked happy together refuting rumours about their alleged break-up, Sai - Shakti Deodhar mingled and relished old memories and so did Varun - Rajeshwari, which was the first jodi to exit the party. Highlight of the evening: The party swung in full tempo when, post the cake ceremony, the title number of Nach Baliye was played. And man how everyone unanimously grooved to the track! One hitch: We'd like to draw attention to one aspect. The venue seemed a wee bit confined taking into consideration the fact that jodis from both the seasons were gonna be there, thus giving rise to a claustrophobic feel! Our take: All in all, a party well attended by the media (lol!) who got a good time to interact before the stars poured in! |
