Manoje joins Kyunki... cast

Until a week ago, Manoje Bidvai's career was going nowhere. Then, he got a call from Ekta Kapoor with the offer of a role in Kasauti Zindagi Ki. So impressed was she on meeting him that she immediately signed him for an important track in Kyuni Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Says Manoj, "It has all happened so fast that it yet has to sink in. Ekta first signed me for a 15 track role in Kasuatii…. Then, they were looking for someone to play the role of Abir in Kyunki…, and Ekta suggested my name. Of course, I accepted both roles," says Manoje.

Manoje is excited the characters he has to play. He says, "In Kyunki I play a business tycoon called Abir who has shades of grey. I'm really looking forward to a playing a negative role. In Kasuati I play a NRI who wants to marry Mukti."

Right now, life is hectic for the actor who is shooting simultaneously for both serials. Manoje says, "I've been shooting non-stop for the past 45 hours. But what's pumped me up is the amazing entry I'm making in Kyunki… I am in a bike race and I'm so confident of winining the race hat I've already announced a party in anticipation. I also have an underwater scene."

"I was constantly dunked in water with my jeans and shirt on," he adds.

"But I love to swim, I've even done a course in diving, so it was a great experience and I loved every minute of it."
