I don't think Mouni is a bad actress. I like her and I don't think Ekta will replace her.

I also do not like the present KT. Very poor performance especially in the scenes where everyone accuses her of theft. Bad/over makeup. The pair Lakshya & KT doesn't match as Lakshya is too good looking. Probably if she is replaced by Ananya (of Ek Ladki Anjani Si fame), it will be great.

According to me, the character KT should portray innocence as well as strength which is not very well enacted by the current actress.
