Naman loves to belt it out By: Tushar Joshi July 17, 2006
Naman Shaw shows off his collection
Naman Shaw loves going back to his home in Kolkata whenever he gets the chance.
"I try and visit my parents whenever possible. This time when I went to Kolkata, I was shocked to see how much the place has changed. So many clubs have come up that the nightlife has become much better than before. I partied till 3 am the other day with my friends."
Passion for fashion
What also made this visit special was the attention Naman got from people all around him. "It feels great to be recognised. It would have been scary if no one had identified me as Pushkar," says the actor of his character in Kasamh Se.
Apart from acting, the actor has a passion for collecting different kinds of belts and glares. "I love dressing up and accessorising my clothes. I have a fetish for belts. I pick them up from different places, whenever something catches my eye."
What does he like to wear when he's at home chilling out? "I'm usually in my boxers, and nothing more."
High-strung!
Even though he shops once a month, Naman makes sure he gets everything he wants in that one day. "I am not a shopaholic, but I like going out when I am in the mood to buy new stuff. I generally prefer not to dress too loud, and also like matching belts with my clothes."
If there's anything else on Naman's mind apart from shopping, it's learning how to play the guitar. "I've been using my guitar more as a prop, but I really want to learn to play it. I will start taking guitar lessons as soon as I find a teacher."
