Krishna Tulsi (Moni Roy)

Hey Friends,

Do u think Moni Roy fits the character of Krishna Tulsi after her first screen appearance yesterday? I felt she was bad, there must have been an experienced actress for this?

I cannot beleive Ekta Mai found only one suitable person among the thousands of them screen tested for this role of Krishna Tulsi.

No. I don't feel so. But I could be wrong. The first impression was not very impressive. The face is too small and the teeth are a turn off. Seems like the decison has beeen made in a hurry. In a country full of beautiful women, I am surprsied that Ekta has picked someone as banal as this. I wonder why?? It will be tough for her to replace Tulsi's position. But like I said I could be wrong. Maybe let's give her some more time. But if it fails then they may have to go for a replacement for Moni Roy. Sorry if this sounds a bit harsh. But the point is that had she been selected to play any other youthful charcater in the serial, I wouldn't have objected, but the lead protagonist - tch tch. It's not uncommmon to find replacements in Ekta's serials, so maybe we may see a change after some time.

Actually it's too much to expect, but someone like Shilpa Saklani may have been ideal for thsi role. But she is playing the role of Ganga so I guess that's ruled out.

Same here , even I agree that Shilpa would have been the ideal girl for this role . Infact I have posted this in the topic "Kyunki leap:ALL Discussions here" . Shilpa would have done proper justice to this role but she is already there as Ganga. Anyways let see how Moni does justice to this role. We cannot come to any conclusions in one episode . Who knew Smrithi would be such a wonderful actress when we saw her first episode . But Smrithi's and Ganga's first episode itself was very impressive. But they had not given such a hype to these roles so nobosy had expectations at that time . I think Ekta gave too much of hype by not releasing any of KT's photo etc etc .......

yes i myself was not happy with the moni roy as she does not look as an major actor in the role whihc is said to be an author backed role in kyunki... after tulsi's.

when smriti was selected as tulsi though she was not beautiful when we saw her first time but she had her own presence she looked confident calm and she had the qualities of star presence , whihc r lacking in the krishma tulsi moni roy also she doesnt look any different from any other new comer where we will see her oh she is krishna tulai u still dont feel it is right chioce as someone pointed yes she had a very small body shape and her teeth r big no no ekta thought of getting an young moni roy but she should have thought as always ekta will go for another leap in comig yrs if serial works so she should have selected an actor who would also looked mature and also moni roy is not heighted so afterwords chances r she would not suit for the role .

i think ekta made a big mistake we expected another smriti irani but where fooled by ekta kapoor

yes man i also expected som one like shilpa saklani who would have played the role they should not look like a 15 yr old gal man we want little mature gals who have their screen presence

even i agree with u all... it may sound harsh on a new comer but there was so much hype about krishnatulsi and obviously we expected someone better .... i think the girl playing bhumi is much better than the girl playing krishnatulsi..... anyways this was not expected but she might suit better with time, but i was not much impressed

i dont think she is good for the role as she is supposed to be a taking tulsi's position and i dont think a person who is going to replace tulsi should have such a bad screen presence!! Arre i feel even bhabhi's new bhabhi does a better job than her and even looks better! though tulsi never looked that great, she had something in her and her acting!
