Smriti Malhotra, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: My growing up years
in Delhi were full of fun. There was always something to do. Since I
was an athlete, I would go to the Siri Fort Sports Complex to
exercise. And there is nothing to beat the delicious papdi-chaat.
Delhi is also so spread out and open. In Mumbai, where I am based
now, everything is small and claustrophobic. But, sadly, the city I
love so much has changed for the worse over the years. The chaotic
traffic conditions make it difficult to travel in the city. There is
too much of pollution. And the biggest and the worst of all these
problems is the fact that it is extremely unsafe for women. It was
not so bad and it should not be so.
