The conversation continues between Gautam and Thulsi. Gautam says that it's a Mother alone who can understand and support her child all through his life. But Thulsi is unable to understand him. What's wrong with Maa? Why can't she support him? Thulsi says that she is indeed supporting him. It's very few people who get the opportunity to give things to others and let them lead a happy life. Gautam has got the opportunity today. She asks him to use the opportunity. She requests him to please withdraw the case. Gautam says enough is enough. Once he gets the complete custody of Nakul, he will take his share of the property and go away. At least he can be assured that others are not after his son. Thulsi is shocked beyond words. Rest of the family (Ganga, Damini, Saahil, Savitha and Prajaktha) gradually walk in. Thulsi gets emotional and says he wants to go away from his mother? the family which accepted him as its eldest son and showered its love and affection. Gautam says he has again become Gomzy. The same Gomzy who can go to any extremes to get what he wants. Savitha is sad upon hearing this. He says he wants to go far away from everybody
Karan is at the hospital. The doctors are surprised at the lateness of his arrival. But he says that its Nandini's birthday today.
With Raha chal the hue asksar, ….in the back ground he has flashbacks of his good times with Nandini. Its good to see both them together again. He sits by her bedside and wishes her a very happy birthday. Tanya is already there with Bhoomi. She knows that karan would be upset and he would upset nandini too. She asks for karan's suggestion on the placement of the cake, a surprise that she had planned. He is still sad and wonders who would cut it. Tanya answers that it is Bhoomi who is Nandini's shadow. They have a cheerful moment as Bhoomi cuts the cake and feeds it to her parents. Bhoomi says that the person who is on the bed is her "Maasi". Tanya is surprised. Bhoomi says its Baa who told her that the person was Tanya's sister. Tanya agrees that nandini is her sister and hugs Bhoomi.
Tanya, Karan and Bhoomi go home. Prajaktha updates Tanya on Gautam's decisions.
Gautam is in his room and angry when Mayank looks at him. Damini watches the whole scene and feels sad.
Karan learns of the happenings from Saahil. He tries to speak to Gautam. But Gautam refuses to listen to him and does not even acknowledge that karan is his brother.
Ganga and Damini go to pick Mayank, Nakul and Bhoomi from school. They have some small talk, wondering how much longer such activities can continue together. As they are crossing the road, a car stops near them with masked men in it. They snatch Nakul and Bhoomi. Damini and Ganga give a good fight. But they speed away. The fight seems very artificial with a lot of crowd watching and doing nothing to save the kids from masked men. Damini manages to scratch the hands of one of them and prevents Mayank from being kidnapped.
Damini and Ganga shed tears. Ganga says that they did the best that they could. They should hurry home and try to find what best can be done. (What happened to all modern gadgets that they carry? – no mobile phones ??)
At home, Baa is speaking to Tanya and says Thulsi is "bechari". When ever there is a confusion, thulsi is always asked to take decision. And those decisions are so tough. And when she does make those decisions, they are not honoured. Tanya says that she trusts Thulsi and Baa more than herself. Savitha calls her into her room.
In Savitha's room, she asks Tanya for a promise. Tanya says that she honours Savitha. Savitha asks her to support Gautam and speak against Baa and Thulsi. Tanya apologises and says that Ganga is in the same position that she is. Is Bhoomi not her daughter? Savitha is a little startled. She says that the matter is not the same. Tanya says it is and walks away. Mohini taunts Savitha.
Damini and Ganga walk in with Mayank. Tanya closes her eyes and asks Bhoomi to come out of her hiding. With tears they explain that both kids have been kidnapped. Gautam screams at damini and accuses her of not being able to take care of his son. Saahil who has been so far speechless looses his temper and says, "Bacche parivar ke". Even when they have been kidnapped, Gautam can't think of anything else? They need to stand united and rescue the kids. This speech silences Gautam.
Tanya calls up Karan in the office and tells him that Bhoomi has been kidnapped.
