Shobha enters the household while Savita, Ba, Tulsi, Mihir and Gautam look on. Savita says that she is happy that Shobha has refused to enter politics. However, Shobha recieves a call from Payal and Payal asks for her answer. Shobha says that she is willing to run for office. Savita is shocked and Payal demands that she move to her house now for political reasons. Tulsi is happy and Savita starts to scold Shobha. Tulsi says that this can be a time to do some service for the nation. Shobha is happy and says that she is willing to do it. Menwhile, after hearing the taunts from Savita, she leaves with Tulsi following her.
Shobha describes the condition put forth by Payal when Tulsi says that what will happen now is on the part of politics and she must sacrifice herself for it. Shobha says that she cannot stand Abhi. Tulsi tells her to overcome this fact and think about the positive effects of it. Tulsi leaves by saying that the decision is in her hands now.
Savita is walking upstairs sad while Meera comes and starts to instigate her agaisnt Tulsi and mentions that no one really cares about her feelings. Savita says that she is happy that Meera is with her and that she cannot do anything now. Savita leaves quietly. Meanwhile, Mohini enters and says that Meera is starting to act very fantastically. Also, that in order to win the groom, the mother needs to be happy. Meera gets mad and tells her to stay out. Mohini says that she herself has used Savita to enter the house and Meera is just using the same strategy. Meera tells her to be quiet and to mind her own business. Mohini vows revenge.
All are at the lunch table and all are having food while Meera asks to serve food, Ganga says that she will do it. Meera mentions that as she is an outsider, they might not feel that this is good. Savita comes and tells Ganga to hand over the job to Meera. Tulsi is amazed. Tulsi goes to get something while Mohini starts to sing songs and Meera drops the gravy on Mihir. Mihir goes to his bedroom with Meera following him. She insists on him removing his shirt and wear something new. Mihir refuses while Meera insists on it. Mihir goes to change while Meera starts to dream about her and Mihir in the same bed together.
Mohini goes to Tulsi and tells her the entire scenario. Tulsi rushes to her bedroom and asks her to leave. Meera starts to taunt her and mentions that she has aldready touched Mihir and is very close to him now. Tulsi gets mad and tells her to leave. In her bedroom, Tulsi comes and starts to pack her bags. Meera tells that she cannot do this stuff since she is a guest. Tulsi says that she is not a guest and that she cannot stand to see a insult on her husband. Meera says that is because she is scared that she might lose him to her body and love. Tulsi is disgusted. Meera tells that she is close to him and enjoyed being with him too much. Tulsi tries to slap her while Meera stops her.
Tanya is crying because of what her mom said and Karan enters. Tanya starts to sob and says that she is sorry that she has taken the position of Nands. Karan says that she should not listen to anyone and that she has a special position in his heart and loves her as well, and that she and Nands are with him in his heart.

Shobha leaves Shantiniketan while Savita still objects her joining politics.
