Smriti Malhotra is a half Punjabi and half bengali by birth...she participated in Miss India contest but was ousted in the first round itself.She worked in Macdonalds as a waitress for some time getting Rs.1800 per month.She worked in a serial called Aatish but her big break came with Kyunki.She also did a serial called Kavita and currently hosts a chat show on Sab Tv.She married Zubin Iraani,a Parsi who is almost 10 years older than her.Incidentally Zubin's ex-wife is model coordinator Mona Iraani who spotted Smriti as a Miss India aspirant...plus Mona is a close friend of Smriti's mom.Smriti has a son and a daughter and she also is a step mom to Zubin's teenager daughter from his first marriage.

So you mean she is a backstabber!

Mona Irani and Smriti are very good friends even today as they share a teenage daughter😉

infact i heard in smriti's interview that when she was pregnant, she was in a market and suddenly she felt she had miscarried and mona was the first person she called from the market itself

she felt she had a miscarriage??
