Nandini learns that Tanya loves karan
Tanya comes to Shanthiniketan. At the door, she says that she needs to control her emotions. She has to remember that she is in Shanthiniketan only to tell Nandini about what she plans to say in court. But as she walks in she remembers some of the things and her time spent as bahu of the house. Mohini interrupts her thoughts and says she seems lost. Is it because she was once a Garhwali and no longer so. Tanya gives her a piece of her mind and says it's a pity that Mohini has never experienced what it is to be the bahu of the house. Though she has been around for so long, she has never lived-in, nor does anybody love her. Though she is far away, the house loves and respects her.
Thulsi and Mihir come down the stairs and ask Tanya to go to court with them. Tanya says she wants to meet nandini before that. Thulsi says she has gone to the temple with baa and Bhoomi and will arrive at court directly. So Tanya accompanies them to court.
Mohini is hurt and goes into her room speaking about Tanya and says that she will teach her a lesson. She will expose her story to….Harsh pulls her rather wildly and says that she has caused enough harm already and if she does not behave Harsh will not spare her. Mohini is surprised that Harsh is so rude.
Baa, Nandini and Bhoomi are praying at a Temple. Tanya is waiting for Nandini near the court. But the prayers continue for long. As they prepare to leave, Bhoomi steps forward and asks God to send her papa back home quickly.
Meera seems victorious where as Thulsi is worried. She questions Meera's moods and enquires if she has a magic wand with her. Meera says she has something equivalent to a wand and she just has to move it around.
Karan is being taken to court and Tanya is wondering why Nandini is so late in coming to court. He comes face to face with Tanya and she asks him not to worry. He would be definitely freed today.
The proceedings of the court begin. The prosecutor makes statements that there is nothing much left in the case. Its crystal clear……….and Meera interrupts him. She adds that there is proof to where Karan was at the time of murder and calls in Ms.Tanya as her witness. Tanya swears on the Gita and says that she was in the same hotel, but was not in the party. Karan came to meet her at about 11.45 pm. They stayed together for about 20 minutes. They heard some noise outside and karan came out to investigate.
Meera takes over and says that since a person can't be present at two places in the same time, (Adithya was killed just before 12 o clock.) Karan could not have killed Adithya Gujral.
When the prosecutor gets the chance to cross-examine Tanya, he asks her why they met. What's the relationship between them? Tanya hesitates to answer. The lawyer taunts her and says do they have a naajayaz relationship between them? Tanya is hurt and says that she is in love with Karan Virani. Nandini enters the court just in time to hear it. Even the family is surprised that this matter was brought in. Tanya continues to say that she had not met karan for a long time and was restless. She was aware that he was a party and went there to meet him. Nandini scream from the door "TANYA". Then walks towards Tanya and asks her if she has any respect left for herself. She should be deeply ashamed. A person whom she thought was her best friend. Karan tries to intervene and says that Nandini is misunderstanding the situation. Nandini says she hates them both, re-iterates the statement and walks out of the court. Karan tries to follow nandini out, but the guards hold him back and the judge asks Meera to take care of her client, so that he respects the proceedings of the court. As it is time for lunch, he also announces a recess.
Mohini is pleased and wonders how the triangle will now be resolved.
Nandini is walked dazed. She is un-mindful of the traffic around her. Tanya tries to ring nandini. But there is no response. Nandini recalls how Tanya had danced with Karan, he gifting her. Then she recalls that Tanya had told her that she was in love. She understands a lot of things. Tanya is still looking around and sees that a speeding car is honking at Nandini. She runs, drags her away and asks her what she was up to? Nandini says that she would probably be dead and that's what Tanya wants anyway. How can she cheat her? And is hysterical and screams more at Tanya. Tanya slaps her.
Tomorrow: Nandini is in court (seated amongst the visitors). Mansigh Chauhan walks in slowly and says "derse aaye, lekin durust aaye".
