R is basically a man who has an one track mind. In Lahore he did many things to get Amrit's attention and even now it is the same. He did not forgive V. It is just that he accepted P ka bhai who gave him his Amrit. But if V lived we could have actually seen how things would have changed, coz A doesn't have the guts to break her marriage for R.

RM will get her punishment the day she realises that her golden son P did everything for A.

Veer actually got what he wanted in life so he left this world. Throughout his life he wanted his mother to belive he did not kill his brother and accept him. That happened. V expected P to love him. Even the little charity that R showed on him was enough for him and finally he wanted A to genuinely care for him regardless of their relation. It happened too. A willingly hugged him that was all he wanted from life.

P. S. He died because of A, coz he thought A is in the Armory.
