Tawaifs : Made Extinct for being Freespirited & Fearless

Just Yesterday I was Researching on Tawaifs for writing Something ....

At the End of my Research I was left heartbroken for them....

They were such Marvellous beings who did everything from Singing, Dancing,Horse riding, Sword fighting, Spying & much more...

Epitomes of Art, Action, Etiquette, Rich & Influential, Beauty & Brains...

They were the Real Feminist Heroes....

& they were Hero makers, They Produced films before anyone else & Casted Actors, Run Production Houses in as early as 1940's....

They were punished by the British for being the Only Women who Played a big role in INDEPENDENCE of India....

It breaks my heart that the Hereditary Performers of Indian Arts have now Gone Extinct....

&

Not just them....The word Tawaif is now used in such a Disgraced Manner to refer to Prostitutes....

We lost much during Partition but they, They were Wiped out.....

These were the ones who helped the kings most so that their rule is maintained even in the mauryan times.

They did fabulous job for the state. They are there since the ancient times, even before time of Gautama buddha, contibuting for welfare of the society. They are real heroes.👏
