If you observe clearly VashmAY story has always been in fast forward mode. Since day one they made it clear how AmDheer is 1st lead couple. They don't decide story in accordance with public opinion but they try to incorporate few things in accordance with public demand. People got more attached with VashmAY, their plan was to highlight AmDheer only.

Initially they did get proper screen space plus it wasn't rushed as per me.

Be it Vashma encouraging Uday to play hockey , their first date, Uday's bond with Brij and even his bond with Radha. Everything did go smoothly

It was only later on that there scenes were rushed and focus shifted completely to AmDheer

Producers at times make changes in the plot owning to TRP and channel pressure

In order to garner more ratings channel and makers are introducing this new triangle plus focus on AmDheer. So, I guess safe to say that they think if focus is on AmDheer and a new guy then their ratings will increase hence the promo and even the montage is on them while Vashmay and Radha were removed from the montage

I feel they preponed the partition track and shifted focus in order to gain more viewers

Heck as per me they were not rushed initially as we used to get proper Vashmay, Radha- Uday, Bridha and even Brij- Uday scene

Precisely why all were on the montage too as makers were showing their journey

Since the past few weeks toh focus has completely shifted and montage toh pata hi hai
