I don't think Farooq is going to rape Amrit, even if he intends to Vashma/Radha/Uday can save her since Randheer is not going to be there around her. Amrit is someone who will directly commit suicide if raped. Since she is the writer of this story and very much alive post Partition, nothing like that is going to happen with her. Vashma can kill Farooq while saving Amrit.

Exactly! He made sure to tell "Lalaji ko kuch nahi hona chaiyye" to his men when he set fire to the shop. It'd be good to see him saving the sahnis. Also, isn't his family gonna be at the wedding?
