I loved the last five minutes of today's episode. The whole scene was so poignant. It was filled with sadness yet had a touch of hope too.
You felt so bad for Abeer in today's episode. He was trying to do the right thing by Abeer but in the process his own heart was breaking. He was leaving behind everyone he loved just so that Amla could live in peace.
And poor Maaso. We sometimes focus so much on Abeer and Amla and their plight that we forget how she must be feeling. She has raised Abeer as her son and she will have to put a stone over her own heart to let him go. It must be so hard for her too.
I'm glad Amla found it in her heart to let Abeer join them for a last meal. The memories of her ordeal will never go away, but she is slowly beginning to soften towards Abeer. I really liked the family scene. The conflicting emotions that Abeer was feeling...happy that he had been allowed to eat with the family but sad knowing this was for the last time. It was so sweet how he bought gifts for Raghu bhaiyya and Mannu. He even told Mando that he had thought of buying her a gift but didn't know what to get her. And Amla saw how much her family all relied on Abeer and how kind he was to all of them especially when Raghu bhaiiya said that if Abeer was with them, everything would be all right. They all trust him completely. And as Abeer tried to hide his tears, Amla could not help but feel a little guilty and uneasy that she was making him leave.
It was quite sad to watch Abeer packing and getting ready to leave yet desperately trying to get a last glimpse of Amla. And Amla too was restless, thinking about Abeer's kindness.
As Abeer opened the door to leave, he was shocked to see Amla standing there. And he grabbed hold of that opportunity and told her everything he wanted to say. For him, Amla's forgiveness was the most important thing. He knew that she would never forgive him but that would not stop him from trying. He told her he never wanted to hurt her in anyway. And he asked for forgiveness one final time.
And as he turned away, he suddenly heard her say his name.
'Abeer...'
As he walked back towards her stunned that she had uttered his name, she finally told him what he had desperately wanted to hear.
"I forgive you.'
A shocked Abeer looked on, not quite believing what he had heard.
I don't know if this is a dream or not, or whether Amla does really forgive him, but it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. But one thing is certain, Amla is being overwhelmed by Abeer's goodness and is causing her conflicting emotions.
In the precap we see Amla watching Abeer leaving as a drunk Dev sees them.
