So guys it was so expected that being the Indian show makers cvs are not gonna leave pregnancy scene so easily...they stretched a few minutes scene really to 3 to 4 episodes 😆 ...like showing the audience steps of how to get a pregnancy confirmation 😆 ...when everyone knew it will turn out negative...they haven't completed 10 episodes of fatmagul in this Indian remake... looks like the show will run for years and years if they keep dragging the scenes unnecessarily...dev's scenes are such a pain to watch 🤢

Haven't watched Fatmagul but someone on the forum mentioned that each ep of Fatmagul was 90 or 100 mins and each ep of Amla is roughly 20 mins. With 50+ eps aired the total run time of both shows is quite close (if Amla has covered 10 eps of Fatmagul) :D So I guess they are on track (?)

Though the pregnancy did take 3 eps in total. It was a tad bit longer than I had expected. They could've wound it in 1 and a lil part of the next ep but I guess they needed so many steps to show the growing bond b/w Masso and Amla. But yeah, it could've been shorter.

And yes, Dev is really annoying. He was more annoying before he came to Mumbai. Now since he has some purpose, I am finding him less annoying. Also I am liking Anisha's character - there's something mysterious about that girl. The actress who plays Anisha is also playing Jasmine in Sarabhai vs Sarabhai 2 and both the characters are so so so diff.

@Bold: Thanks for pointing this out.
I will try to catch some episodes for her. Loved her characterization of Jasmine in SvS take 2.

The pregnancy track was dragged to actually show that Amala realizes Karuna is not bad and she misunderstood her. Due to this track, Amala started trusting Karuna. Now she knows that she has someone other than Pau who can support and fight for her with Mando.
I am glad they didn't drag it much. I actually liked those scenes. In fact the show became interesting due to this track.

Now I am just waiting for change in relationship of Ambeer.

Regarding Dev, less said the better. He is more irritating than the Maliks.

honestly this show is actually going slower than fatmagul. I mean being a brown show there has to be an indian tv touch to it but still they do really need to speed the show up a bit atleast cause otherwise abeer wont even get to say his feelings to amla until like next year lol. Lets just see as well what theyve changed cause maybe they deleted certain scenes from fatmagul to make it compatible with the indian television even though there was nothing wrong about fatmagul but still maybe thats why theyre trying to add in filler scenes rn who knows. regardless, they still need to advance ambeers story cause i def cant wait anymore.

I think it was important to educate the audience who isn't aware about the accuracies of certain types of tests. They went from a simple pulse check to urine test to blood test. They refuted the validity of the Indian midwifery technique of just looking for a rushing pulse, which only happens in women who have advanced through the first trimester of pregnancy and also can be a symptom of other issues. Then they questioned the accuracy of a home pregnancy test kit and finally ensured that a scientifically valid test for pregnancy is what ensured the final results. In many parts of India, people still don't visit an OB to confirm pregnancy or get proper prenatal care.
