When you are a die hard fan of some actor by default u will tend to say all this what u have said above.🤣
i never knew only who rajveer is not even from ads...i saw him only in this serial and in all honesty i think he did a brilliant job in yesterdays episode of confession.

Yes he did a great job and so did she 😊 But the point is that...for me... his character is a little grey. He is not sorry for what he may have done...he is scared of what will happen to HIM...he feel sorry for himself...that how I felt it. The performances was great but confusing...what is it exactly he is feeling...sorry for himself or regret...

not just him but his friends, rishaan, masso, mando, they all just stand out as actors. particularly mando i just love her sarcasm 🤣

I already said that his friends overshadow him. so I agree all 3 are great actors and are able to add the part where you hate what they did...but you also "kind of" feel sorry for them. Actors that can add this twist are awesome actors.

and abt pankhuri...well u didnt see her in other serials then. im nt saying shes the best as an actor but she has a lot of potential and shes too cute to be ignored. and who said they r making amala invincible ? she did not even speak up for gods sake...infact she didnt speak a word yet...

I meant invisible and not invincible...sorry my writing mistake. What I meant was that I wish they had showed more Amala's mental condition...what she is going through. Not enough screen time has been used on her.

Beside that...I think they have overdone the Bhabi being selfish thing. Why do they in Indian tv shows has to make one women...all bad. They could just have shown her being selfish but also doing it...because that was the only way she could see. The only way for Amala...because she was sure Dev would not marry her now...why make her all evil and selfish.

And yes she is good but I felt out of character in the last episode...I always believed that deep down she does care for Amala.

and abt ur hard time swallowing on marrying the guy she thought raped her n then fell in love...let me tell u that she falls in love with him AFTER she comes to know he didnt rape her and AFTER he does everything in his power to help her fight for justice.

As I said I have not seen the original show. Just commented after what I head the story is about.

and abt kunal karan kapoor...i tried to see one serial of his i forgot the name (he was mohan in that) and i stopped watching bcos none of the actors nor the plot could hold me on to that serial...not saying hes a bad actor...he defo must have got better as the serial progressed but im giving a very unbiased opinion since i didnt even know abt rajveer and probably this is his first serial...hes a better actor so far and hes starting to slay it.

As I said then it is my observation and opinion...like you all shared yours. I do not watch a show just for the story...the characters and the actors performances is...FOR ME...what make a different.

when an actors performance is confusing i.e - hes showing conflicting emotions so well tht even the public cant make out at this point what hes feeling sorry abt exactly or maybe feeling sorry about both the things...THAT MY FRIEND IS THE SIGN OF A GOOD ACTOR😳 and if his character is really grey, which i dont think it is, this its good for us viewers, it will add some intensity. infact i wish he was grey but in this serial it wont be the case

I already said that his friends overshadow him. so I agree all 3 are great actors and are able to add the part where you hate what they did...but you also "kind of" feel sorry for them. Actors that can add this twist are awesome actors.

for now if they r overshadowing him, it is all right bcos they were involved in the crime and they r not even sorry, they r just afraid of the consequences, they cant be ignored until this case does not rest for the time being. once AmBeer track starts they will be ignored so badly tht ull miss them trust me.

I meant invisible and not invincible...sorry my writing mistake. What I meant was that I wish they had showed more Amala's mental condition...what she is going through. Not enough screen time has been used on her.

They have clearly shown her mental condition, i dont think they need to show more of that, if they keep showing only her crying or sitting in a shock for the entire 22 mins, who will watch this serial then ? everyone is curious to know whats gna happen with those four people next

Beside that...I think they have overdone the Bhabi being selfish thing. Why do they in Indian tv shows has to make one women...all bad. They could just have shown her being a little selfish but also doing it because that was the only way she could see. my dear, majority of the women in REAL LIFE are like that only, that is the whole point of showing her like this. theres an old saying 'aurat hii aurat ki dushman hoti hai' im sorry bt im speaking on plenty of personal experiences not just from my side bt on behalf of some of my friends/ family too. the way a woman plots against another woman, gossips abt her, back bites, etc instead of uplifting her is appalling ! this NEEDS to be highlighted as much as possible and this thinking needs to change. just think ...if we women uplifted one another, half the problems would be solved and this male dominance would hardly exist. because in a man's eye we women only dont respect each other then how do u expect men to respect us. this issue is a serious one and needs to change !

Maybe...I do not socialize with people like that and I cut them off. If someone is not genuine...they are not part of my life...

Agree...that it would be nice if women uplifted one another...at the same time women should not let a man define her or should say stop if something cross her bounties.

If you look at the show then Amala is not being herself around Dev...who is very obsessive. Which is not a healthy sign in a relationship.

About Rajveer's character then...I do not know what the writers has in their mind but a guy who grab a girl like he did, who saw and did not do anything when she was gang raped...who went toward her to do the same but past out...or just left her there...is not a good human being.

Question: Did he help her getting justice after he found out that he did not rape her? and would be have done the same if he had raped her? Beside that his character is a lost kid who want to fit in between the rich guys...who do want to cross limit, but do not do it, because then he had to face one women that truly cares for him.

Maybe it meant to confuse...but for me it seem more of him performing a scene to the BEST but not getting into the skin of the character and showing what exactly he is made off...I love when there is a twist in a character...but a confusing performance make me feel that the actor is just a directors actor...maybe he is...does not have to be something negative...that the way you grow as as an actor...I am just pointing out...that for now...he is not convincing me.

I personally love actors that are able to go beyond the script. If there is a layered character then you really want the actor to dig in...so that is what I am missing.

Anyway...his character bother me because they want the viewers to sympathize...but I do not think it is right...because in my eyes...he is as bad as the other 3...even if he did not do it...the thing is...I WANTED TO.

I also feel that they should show that looking, at someone being abuse, is as bad as doing it...people need to lean to gather and stop it.

@Red: Thats the problem with me as well. I am not able to sympathize with Abeer. And thats the reason for my contradicting views compared to most of the forum members.

PS: I am waiting to see further episodes to find out how this character grows.

princess200 something we agree on 😉

rsharan 😊 I am also waiting. The show is great and all characters has layers and are interesting. Writing is good and so are the directing...it take you there to the beautiful and "kind of" peaceful place.

I also like that they are showing what rapist goes through...that it not just some villains but young people who has a story...it provoking..and interesting how Indian audience will take it...but said that...still there is no excuse...wrong is wrong.

The last few episodes the rapist had to much screen time...and in a country where rape is a problem...they need to show wrong is wrong and not doing anything is wrong to.

Do not give the men (if there is any) watching the show an excuse...or the women feeling sympathy. Is It not...what going on already?

It sensitive and need the right balance and I feel it is more important to show a women's mentally condition. How she will hate herself and her body...not feeling worthy of Dev but still need to feel loved. Not be able to take a touch...specially for a man and so on.

It also bother me that they did not show how women sometime a treated in hospital...when they are examined and that it is for the women...abuse all over again.

They skip the whole part...maybe because it is a very sensitive issue. If it is just a story telling...it is fine...but if it is to raise the voice...for rape victims...then they need to show how a women feel when she is abuse...how she end up hating her own body.

Anyway it is still early...so maybe they will show it later.
