Cvs chose not so handsome actor as Dev for a reason

Unlike the actor playing Dev who is more of a creepy looking guy and hardly handsome the actor who played Mustafa was very handsome. I think cvs did not chose a more famous and handsome guy as Dev because in India, many people even ship a criminal, abuser, murderer and even a terrorist with the heroine if the actor playing the man is hot. They are given excuse for all their misdeeds with ridiculous justications. Cvs don't want this to happen to their show especially a remake of a show like Fatmagul. In the past, there were actually shows where the hero is forgiven even if he rapes the heroine. Mustafa like controlling, possessive and obsessive man are found in several Indian shows. So the cvs clearly don't want people who are not aware of oruginal Fatmagul to ship Amala with Dev or do their ridiculous demands to make Amala and Dev as the end game like it happened with shows like Begusarai and Udaan. Imagine what would have happened if actors like KSG, Karan V Grover, Ankit Raj, KVB or Aham Sharma played Dev?

I got your point but i feel dev is good looking than Mustafa. Mustafa was never handsome tbh. he rather looked wicked!

don't know about mustafa and kerim ...here dev looks better than abheer imo...
till now dev is not a culprit so dev don't have to be that handsome or played by a popular actor for viewers to ship him... abheer is the culprit he is the one who should have been more handsome so that fans can forget n forgive his actions and ship him with the heroine...
let the hate for mustafa character and so dev's not spread to the actor playing the role...he is looking handsome honestly n is doing a good job as dev...
here everybody knows the original story so nobody is gonna waste their time shipping for amala and dev even if dev was played by a popular actor...

Yes Jaz karim was culprit but he was genuinely sorry , remorseful. Welli think karim 2 dont thought his frnds will stoop so low. His true regret only brought a better person in him , even fatmagul 2 forgave him coz of his that act but karim dint forgave himself which he admit infront of fatmagul.

Hi juhi . We met again. I dint see fatmagul on saw its promo on youtube & little bit saw on this forum. Abeer is growing on me , d guy had very expressive eyes which will help him show emotions easily.
