Supposed to be a story about an EMA, in a mature way?

Right now everyone hates Anushka for her tactics but her interviews and show articles stated she was not a typical vamp//// That is not what I saw in a few epis that I watched

Anushka comes off as a spoiled brat, throwing tantrums, and frankly is a bit nuts

Where is the mature part in all of this?

I thought it was about a man who grows tired of his responsibilities and a romance forms outside of the relationship and the issues around infidelity and commitment and keep together a marriage in trying times

This show is full Ekta style instead

I agree...Office romance is a serious issue...and Ekta team has made a mockery of the storyline...I still can't figure out how a higher achiever like Anuskha who left love for career will fall for Pradeep, since she being a woman has much to lose from situations like this...why there isn't anyone really interested (or in Love with) in Anuskha who has the 'beauty with brains'...why the heck is she not married yet...I find the story very amateurish...office romance specially with boss is a taboo...I guess Ekta can't think 'Outside (the Bollywood) Box"...

Atlas.. An Ekta show regardless of being "refreshing" and "different" in the beginning will always end up being an over-emotional senti piece of everyday soap... Now all we have to do is wait and see someone getting pregnant, A leap in the future and a full damal 1hr epi where all the character (old and young) will come together and dance to Bollywood songs

Nevertheless I gotta admit that the show will be one heck of an entertainment drive and I will watch it wholehereatedly (I'm a sucker like that)

Anushka is psycho, and obsession for something which is unattainable-forbidden..She wants something she can't have.
Pradeep is sleeping his way up of corporate ladder..He is the male mistress...Gigolo IMHO...Nothing more...he has not accomplished or achieved any success with his talent...yeah part of his body has achieved promotion and all luxuries of life..Thanks to anushka..
I want to know what mona does not.
This story started out differently but ended up totally silly-immature type..
Agree with SML and Kalapi..

Varsha...I find this story so frustrating...Ekta proabably isn't paying her Cvs well for her shows😃

Well to me, so far the story just been a series of coincidences without actually any character exploration for why the characters doing what they are...I wished the story explored a bit more the different characters like how Pradeep was unhappy with his boss exploiting him...I think they just showed an episode where his boss presented his work as his own...This had so much reality for a lot of 'introvert' people who find themselves exploited constantly by 'office politics'...Cvs could have shown how frustrated and trapped he felt and that he couldn't explore other 'options' because of family commitments (this happens to so many of us)...Cvs could have justified his EMA in this lines instead of looking for romance...I am not sure how many 'Indian' family actually goes out for a 'romantic' date after kids...I find that even 'Indian' living in the West can't go out for a hubby/wife date after kids...it just a mindset that we have...so lack of romance seriously doesn't cut for me esp. in an Indian setting where 'family' is into everything from the very first day of marriage...

Secondly, Anuskha's character has been made a psycho desperate for marriage...I mean how old is she? she must have enough proposals coming her way with her success and good looks...nothing was shown why she isn't married in this 12 yrs...weird how did her family let her be unmarried so long...maybe they should have shown her as a divorcee or something because of her commitment to work... A women in high post needs a lot of merit other than just a educational topper...she was in competition with Men of equal caliber, so must have something 'extra-ordinary' to beat them at their game (corporate world whether in West or East is still a Men's world sadly still now)...and women in this world turn quickly 'bitchy' instead of 'successful' (I mean Ekta should know, right)...She should have been as cool and calculating instead of demanding marriage without realizing the consequences...I mean she has most to lose (women in office EMA have been shown to be penalized (even if isn't their fault) more than men according to Western Studies ...if this is true in the West, I believe it is also true in India too)...besides she should know if she married Pradeep it will result in Conflict of Interest and one of them will have leave their job...I mean seriously can a hubby/wife work in the same department, that too being a boss giving all the perks to the spouse...unbelievable...seriously all characters should have been shown grey with complex motives instead of this 'early 30s' women demanding marriage from a low-achieving not so 'good looking' employee...seriously...

This serial should serve as a wake up call for EMA's in real life seriously. I remember Glenn Close giving an interview about FATAL ATTRACTION where she had an EMA with Michael Douglas.. She said I can bet every man coming out of the movie theater held his wife's hand close, looked into her eyes and said...Honey I will never look at another woman in my life.

Mona Ganguli is no Glenn Close but her psychotic acting is really good. Scary to think if this happened in real life.
