Kunal and Samar are brothers. Is samar, shardha's son. They didn't say in the show and he's not close to his mom either. I don't know wats goin on but something is going on. My prediction is.. that Kunal is Shardha's son while Samar is not her son. It could be that Shardha was the father's GF and had Kunal. She gave Kunal to the family so they could raise him. Samar is probably the father's wife child or something. Shardha probably doesn't have the family name because she was never married to the father and the dadi ji doesn't like her and also Kunal. Kunal probably grew up with his father and the family and samar's mom died and shardha came to take care of them. (r something like that).
