Article-INX Media CEO quitting!

Hey guys, I thought that I would share this news with you. I know that it doesn't say anything about the show but still I thought maybe it's good to know what's going on with the channel.
The Ceo's if INX Media (owner of 9x) are quitting. They will now have a temporarily ceo that will take over.
I really hope that things will brighten up for INX media with the new ceo and their supervision so that 9x really gets a fresh start and can draw viewers to the channel.More importantly, I hope that they get Kya dil mein hai back😃

I must say for being a media company, they sure were really bad with dealing with the media. There is never any clear information on what's going on with the channel. Even now that 9x has started with fresh telecasting, they never really confirmed anything to outside sources. They should attempt to get more publicity about their upcoming shows so that ppl become aware of their shows and know that they are back with fresh content. There is still no discussion forum here on IF for their 2 new shows, so maybe the IF team was not informed either about the new shows.

Anyways, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for our show to return asap😊

INX Media CEO, executive chief step down

New Delhi, March 10 INX Media has announced that its founder and CEO, Ms Indrani Mukerjea, and Executive Chairman, Mr Peter Mukerjea, have stepped down from their current management positions.

In a statement, the company said the two will continue to be shareholders of the company.

The board is also bringing in Mr Pradeep Guha, former CEO of Zee Entertainment, as a consultant. When contacted Mr Guha said it would be a short consultancy to help carry out "a due diligence on the way forward for the company".

While the CEO carries on in her position till the end of April, Mr Mukerjea will be stepping down end March.

In January, the company sold its news channel, NewsX to Indi Media, promoted by Mr Vinay Chhajlani. It still owns a music channel and a Hindi general entertainment channel.

Investors of INX Media include Temasek Holdings Pte, New Silk Route Advisors and New Vernon Private Equity. In September last year, Ms Mukerjea told Business Line that the company would launch 10 channels spanning general entertainment and music in various languages and city-specific channels over 18 months.
