part 14

The Engagement

Everyone was at the Punj residence- all the family memebers were dressed beautifully and happiness was beaming on there faces as they were greeting Rahul and Kakoon who where sitting next to each other on the stage,Rahul looked dashing in a hot black sherwani and Kakon was looking gorges in a blue embroided lengha with a stunning duppatta on her head. they were shyly looking at each other while smiling, people were looking at this cute couple and thought Rab Ne Bana Di Yeh Kamal Ki jodi and were blessing them. there was still time for the engagement and both Rahul and Kakoon were waiting for someone????Tanu and Rohit were siting next to Rahul and Kakoon,Rahul remembered Tanu pulling his leg about the wedding dates and thought its payback time and grinned, Mansha came and took Kakoon to meet some guests, time to put the plan into action he made a sad face and looked at Tanu, Tanu noticed his sad face and said "bhayyia kya huwa apka chehra..." "kya mera chehre mein kya hai daag hai??? "nahin bhaiyya daag nahin aap itne udaas kyu hai?" "kuch nahin Tanu mein tumhe aapni gham nahin dikana chahta?"gham kaisa gham bhaiyya aapki sagaai hone wali hai aur kuch dino mein shaadi" hearing this Rahul dramatically closed his eyes, Tanu looked alarmed Rohit started paying attention "kya huwa bhaiyya"Rohit asked

"ab kya kahun, Tanu tumari shararat ki wajah se meri shaadi postpone ho gayi "KYA" Tanu shouted "shhhhhh"Rahul whispered "yeh ap kya keh rahe hai bhaiyya meri wajah se kya huwa" "haan jab tum or Sid bhaiyya mera mazaak bana rehe the shaadi ki dates ke liya toh Kakoon neh sun liye aur woh mujhpe gussa karne lagi" Rahul sighed, Tanu was shocked ,Rohit had no idea what had happened so he thought its best to stay quiet "phir kya huwa bhaiyya" Rahul looked at her and thought "Tanu ki bacci ab aayega maza" "huh- phir kya woh kehne laki ke mein use shaadi nahin karna chahta aur me uske feeling ke saath khel raha hoon aur woh yeh shaadi nahin kare ki" Tanu was nearly close to tears Kakoon bhabhi was upset at Rahul bhaiyya because of her "lekin aap ne kaha nahin mein aur bhaiyya mazak kar rahe the""haan lekin woh nahin manti" "aap fikar na kare main bhabhi ko samjati hoon ek minute" and saying that she walked away from Rahul,Rahul grabbed her arm and laughed, Tanu was confused, Rohit thought "what's going on i better go from here ill leave it to them" and walked off "aap haas kyu rahe hai" "kyunki mein mazak kar raha tha" "KYA" "yes my dear little sis its payback for that day" "bhaiyya you scared the life out of me thinking im the reason bhabhi is upset with you im gonna...." and she ran to hit him Rahul laughed and ran and bumped into Kakoon and got lost in her eyes Tanu saw him and rolled her eyes and hit him on his back hard "ooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww" Kakoon was shocked "Tanu why did you hit your bhaiyya" "mar gaya"Rahul thought "woh bhabhi Rahul bhaiyya ne......" Rahul covered her mouth "kuch nahin Kakoon Bhai- Behan kya pyaar hai its ok tumhe mom bularahi hai tum jaoo" Kakoon shook her head and went Rahul let go of Tanu mouth partly because she bit his hand "okay baba im sorry but now were both even and you wont tell your bhabhi will you or there definatly wont be a wedding"Rahul made a pouting face Tanu laughed and hugged her big brother Rahul smiled everyone else smiled looking at them too.

"Devi- shall we start the engagement rasam"Gayu asked "not yet Gayu just waiting for a few more guests" "ok" Gayu smiled and in walked in through the entrance was Prem and his Heer....

Prem had on a breath- taking brown sherwani and Heer who looked equally stunning in a green lengha hand in hand walked over to Gayu and Devi "Namaste Mrs basin, Namaste Mrs punj" Prem greeted "namaste Prem" Gayu and Devi greeted back Prem (hot)introduced Heer as his fiance, Heer also greeted Gayu and Devi, Gayu and Devi blessed the couple and said that hopefully their wedding will be soon Heer blushed and Prem smiled Prem took Heer to meet Rahul and Kakoon Rahul shook hands with Prem and Kakoon hugged Heer Rahul and Prem saw them do that and looked at each other and shrugged and hugged each other Heer and Kakoon laughed at their antic, during Kakoon accident and Prem looking after her Rahul and Prem had become great friends and also introduced Heer to Kakoon and they also became good friends "congratulations Rahul and Kakoon" Premeer said "thanks" Rakun repiled together "waise Prem yaar tumari sagaai to hogayi toh shaadi kab?"Rahul asked Prem smiled and said "meri marzi hoti toh abhi shaadi kar leta" "PREM" Heer said blushing at his answer Rahul and Kakoon laughed "arre stop teasing my friend" "ok ok" Prem said Rahul was still grinning "hopefully soon but probly after your wedding beacause im waiting for my brother to come back and then we can start the preparations" "where has he gone?"Rahul asked "switzerland yeah Preet and Meher have gone for their honeymoon" "Meher?"Rahul asked "haan woh meri behan hai"Heer repiled "wow both brother fell in love with the sisters"Prem looked at Heer, She looked a little sad Kakoon noticed and knew why Preet and Meher got married and decided to change the topic " ok baba baas Heer tumne waada kiya tha meri engagement mein tum aur Prem dance karoge so come on" "Kakoon" Heer started "no ifs or buts you promised"Kakoon answered firmly "come on it will be fun and me and Kakoon will join you ok"Rahul said and caught Kakoon's arm Prem caught Heer's arm and both the drop dead gorges men took their loves to the dance stage.....

Kakoon said "Kakoon" Heer started "no ifs or buts you promised"Kakoon answered firmly "come on it will be fun and me and Kakoon will join you ok"Rahul said and caught Kakoon's arm Prem caught Heer's arm and both the drop dead gorges men took their loves to the dance stage.....

Gayu was looking from afar and smiling at her son and daughter in law to be, D.p went to his wife "im really happy today Gayu, Rahul is getting his love" "Gayu nodded "but Gayu i also feel very guilty about the way we behaved with Kakoon and ill always feel that way but i will make sure she gets the love that she deserves" Gayu smiled and hugged him "well if you promise that then we have no worrys then" said a voice behind them Gayu and D.P turned and saw Dinesh and Devi smiling at them "forget the past now think about the present and future and look how happy our kids are now so no guilty feeling ok D.P?"Dinesh said D.P hugged Dinesh and Gayu hugged Devi.Bebe was looking at them and smiling

Sid, Preeti, Tanu and Rohit were together deciding what to gift Rahul and Kakoon but they still werent able to decide "bhaiyya well get them movie tickets" Tanu said "no Tanu that is too boring" Rohit replied Tanu gave him an come-home- and - ill- show- you-boring- look,Rohit got scared and hid behind Sid, Sid and Preeti laughed "no but Tanu we need to do something special"! Preeti said "ive got it" "what?"Tanu - Sid- Rohit asked together "here ill tell you" Preeti tells her plan in mute they all high- five each other.

at the dance stage

Prem and Rahul had dragged their better halfs on stage but they were refusing to dance so Rahul had an idea he whispered in Prems ear, Prem loved it and smiled, Prem went somewhere Heer got confused and said to Kakoon "prem kaha chala gaya?" "pata nahin but dont worry woh aajaega mujhe Rahul se daar lag raha hai mujhe aise kyun dekh raha hai?" both Kakoon and Heer were confused suddenly lights went out Rahul shouted "MUSIC"

Kakoon and Heer felt their hand being pulled and then dim lights came on.

Rahul was on the floor holding Kakoon hand, same with Prem holdin Heer they looked into each others eyes for a moment then Rahul started singing "My desi girl

Kakoon stared at him all the family members looked on as well. Prem sang

he stands up and looks in Kakoon eyes , she blushes

he stands up and twirls Heer around Heer gets shy and lowers her eyes

Dil ko yun behaal bana de- Prem puts Heer hand on his heart

as soon as the went into the middle music started and Rahul and Prem saw Heer and Prem coming towards them

heer grabbed Prem hands and pulled him with her and sang

Prem looked at her with wide eyes

Heer and Kakoon laughed and hugged each other

Rahul and Prem recovered and smiled at their love

"ok beta yeh sab hum baat mein continue karle ab sagaai ka waq hai chalo Rahul, Kakoon" Gayu informed

Prem and Rahul said to Heer and Kakoon "this is not over" Kakoon and Heer looked at each other and then said together "bring it on"giggled and left Rahul and Prem looked on in suprise and walked towards the sagaai area

Tanu and Mansha had the engagement rings Devi and Gayu made Kakoon and Rahul sit in their chairs. Rahul was smiling as too was Kakoon, Prem was standing near Heer, it was time for Rakun to put rings on each other, first Kakoon put her ring on Rahuls finger everyone clapped and cheered then Rahul put his ring on Kakoon and this time Rahul kissed Kakoon hand Kakoon blushed Prem - Sid and Rohit shouted "oye -hoe" everyone laughed and clapped

finally Rahul and Kakoon were engaged the elders told everyone to go and eat Prem and Heer stayed with Rahul and Kakoon congratulating them and then left them alone for a while "Kakoon thankyou" Kakoon looked up at Rahul "thankyou kis liye Rahul""meri zindigi mein aane ke liye" Kakoon smiled and said "phir mujhe bhi thank you kehna parega kyunki meri zindigi mein pehle tum aaye"both of them laughed and hugged each other "ehem... sorry two love birds ko disturb kiya par but mama ne kaha hai kuch kaalo"Tanu smirked and ran off "shall we?" Rahul put his arm out Kakoon smiled and put her hand within his.

after everyone had eaten everyone was just chilling no one wanted to leave it was just a great engagement and the Punj family didnt mind they were happy that Rahul and Kakoon were happy.

"Rahul" Prem started "hmmm" "humne ladkiyon ko jawab dena hai" "haan mein to bhool gaye ab tumhi idea do maine pehle diya tha" "funny"Rahul laughed "ok sochne do......." "nahin nahin take your time buri raat hai humare paas" Prem lightly punched Rahul "ok got it"

"Heer yeh dono ab kya karenge"Kakoon asked "pat nahin in dono ke maan mein kya hai lekin we have to be prepared"

Kakoon nods and smiles

i posted part 14 and 15 again just for refresher cos its been a while since a posted

here goes 😆

Part 16

"hmmm acha ab beta ladkiyon ne gana ga diya ab koi jawab hai ya phir har gaye?" Gayu asked smiling, "Mama yeh kya kehrahi hai ofcourse jawab hai i mean Prem ke paas jawab hai" Rahul looked at Prem "What?" Prem replied Rahul gave him a look, Prem smiled "just kidding buddy, haan unke jalwe dekh liya ab hamari deko " Kya jalwe?" Tanu said laughing "no no no woh you know what forget it Rahul chalo" Preeti Tanu and Gayu were laughing.

"Heer pata nahin ab yeh dona kya karenge,inke aankhon mein kitni masti dikh rahi hai" Kakoon stated to her new best friend "Kakoon ab jung huwi hai toh yeh dono full masti mood mein hai!, ab shaadi ke baad hume koun bachaeyga" Heer dramatically finished Kakoon and Heer burst out laughing "aa dekhe zara inke kartoote"

Rahul and Prem look at Kakoon and Heer and start singing agen

Kakoon and Heer shook their heads, Rahul and Prem give each other high- fives Rahul grins at Kakoon and says "Kakoon ab tumari bari" " Accha toh yeh baat hai" Kakoon replies back "haan lekin agar nahin karna hai toh keh do its ok with us"Prem advise "haan haan yeh toh apko accha hi lagega na!"Heer states back! Prem gives her a smile that could melt butter Heer blushes "ab hamari bari" Kakoon reminds him smiling, Rahul winks at her and says "go ahead" Kakoon blushes. and both girls walk off.

Kakoon and Heer see Rahul and Prem expression and laugh but just to irritate them more they decide to sing

Rahul and Prem scream out "WHAT"

the rest of the family look at them and laugh D.P says to Gayu "ladkiya jeet gayi ab dekhna Rahul or Prem kya karte hai"he laughs

Kakoon and Heer had heard them scream but they were having fun so they decide to sing that part again

"Rahul, bas! meri sharmili si Heer ab Bipasha Basu bane wali hai mujhe nahin jeetna " Prem said in a worried tone

"haan your right Prem Kakoon bhi kahin Kareena Kapoor na ban jaye, chalo kehde woh jeete hum haare"

"yeh come on lekin we are never gonna hear the end of this"Rahul gave him a knowing and defeated look. "chalo"

Kakoon and Heer knew they were coming towards them and smiled "Rahul, humne apni performance de di ab aap dono ki bari" Kakoon knew full well that Rahul wouldnt let her lose at any cost and would use any excuse but she knew her Rahul and she loved him for that but that didnt mean she couldnt tease him a bit

"woh kya hai na Kakoon...." "hmmm kya bolo na Rahul" Rahul looked at Prem "Heer..." Heer knew Prem as well as Kakoon knew Rahul but even she was feeling in a masti mood "Kya huwa Prem humne kar liya ab app ki bari hai" "woh..."Prem looked at Rahul both were thinking the same thing "kaise samjaye" Kakoon and Heer looked at her other and the smile they gave each other showed that both of them knew what their better halfs were trying to say. "Rahul kaho na buri raat kya aise hi rahoge"

Rahul spoke so fast "KakoonHeertumdonojeetiaurhumhaare" "Kya" Both Heer and Kakoon said "Prem tum kaho maine pehle kaha tha" "ab aise kaho ke to kaun samje kha" "what ever , kaho!" Prem said "Erm KakoonHeertumdonojeetiaurhumhaare" Rahul hit his forehead "aabhe yehi to maine kaha tha"

Rahul and Prem shyly said "haan" Heer and Kakoon just looked at them! they were so cute "Heer inhe baad mein cherenge abhi toh kitne cute lag rahe hai"Kakoon whispered in her ear "main bhi yahin soch rahi thi Kakoon" both of them smiled."ok thanks"Heer and Kakoon said together

"what?"Prem and Rahul said "aur kuch nahin kehna?"Rahul asked Kakoon smiled "nahin ab apne maan liya toh yehi kafi hai" "hum mama ke paas aa kar aate hai" Kakoon and Heer left leaving stunned Rahul and Prem behind

"ok that was painless"Rahul said "hmmmm but i think that was the calm before a storm" Prem said

"jo bhi ho i think hume apne better half ke saath ab dance karna chahiye" "true chalo" and they followed where Kakoon and Heer went

i found it very boring so plz forgive me

ive got one more part left of the engagement then that will be done and dusted

aaw thank u so much 4 updating it yaar! and yeah the part was a bit hmm how should I say it, not boring but the story did not move on.. n yea would have enjoyed watching the part on TV with amir and gail :( ...
