While most TV stars have resumed working on their respective shows and channels, there is a huge crowd eagerly waiting to know where they stand. 9x has been asking the stars of their big shows like Mahabharat and Jalwa to wait till they know if the channel can afford to continue shooting.

The channel that was launched with great hype, last year has been facing torrid financial crunch. The industry people have been talking about their bankruptcy. And the adding to that injury is the endless wait of the stars. "We've been told that there is no money for us to start shooting. The TV strike has been called off since a long time but we're still waiting for a green signal from the channel," says Aamir Ali who plays the lead in Kya Dil Mein Hai .

The entire Mahabharat team didn't wish to comment on the status of the shooting schedules. "All we know is that the production house and the actors have been facing losses due to present scenario," said an actor who didn't wished to be named.

Most producers have unanimously decided that if the situation does not come in control, they will be either forced to shut their shows or move them to other channels. The buzz is that Mahabharat might be shifted to NDTV imagine, however both channel and production house have been tight lipped about this development.
