There was proof that Rahul could not have killed Naina. The proof was just not given the importance, which every evidence in a murder-case is usually given. We, ladies and gentlemen, have an eye-witness. Pandit-ji can indeed prove that Rahul was in the mandir at the time of Naina's murder. What bigger proof could there be of Rahul's innocence. He can't be in two places at once. Now, the second thing is that Aman has taken Naina's cell phone and bill. How come no one wonders where her phone is? Normally cops searches the victim's room in search for all kinds of evidence, anything that they can use to get closer to the murderer. Why hasn't anyone taken up Naina's case, since Rahul was found not guilty. Is that really all the police cares about capturing a killer? The case wasn't closed, remember?
Another thing that I wonder about is that a rich family like the Bhasins must have security cameras all over their property. Did anyone think about searching the outhouse for security cameras that might have filmed the whole murder-scene? No. Why? Because, magic-kachoo and there were no security cameras in a property with billion-dollar furniture. The Bhasins must really trust their neighborhood.
